- Luzdemaguey| 1 replyI have been receiving calls from this number (and also from 1 866 458 7618)for months now every single day. They always leave the same recorded message stated above/
- Pat| 2 repliesCalling my house 7 days a week sometimes 2 times a day.
- busty replies to GMtrue
- realist| 3 replies866-458-7619 - The call is from CitiCards, in reference to your (delinquent) Home Depot credit account. They're calling to collect the past due amount on your account (If you are at least 25 days past due).
In most every state (with the exception of only 3-4 states), collectors can call up to 8 times per day if they are not able to make contact with you, i.e. You ignore the call, don't answer, etc.
They can leave a message every-other day. And if you speak directly with them (even if you dont make a payment) they will wait 3-4 days before trying to contact you again to follow up on your previous conversation.
bottom line...: Pay your damn bills.- Caller: CitiCards
- Call type: Debt collector
- me replies to Patsame here pain in the [***] !!!
- world is bigger than you| 9 repliesDo you holier than thou's saying "pay your bill" -- for your information most people WANT to pay their bill, but with crap the way it is right now it is kind of difficult. "Pay Home Depot or keep the electricity on? Hmmm. How do I choose?" I feel sorry for your friends and family -- I imagine you are just as empathic to their problems.
I'm using my paycheck to pay rent and the electric bill, buy food, and put gas in the car to get to work so I get another paycheck. That's all it covers right now. Sorry Home Depot!! Hey REALIST -- How about YOU pay my damn bill!?!?!?!?- Caller: HomeDepot
- Tami| 5 repliesHey Citibank [***]
What if you NEVER EVER HAD A HOME DEPOT ACCOUNT! There isn't a bill to pay [***]. Yet I am still getting calls from your LOSERS! - ex-Citicard/ Home Depot Agent| 1 replyIf you never had a Home Depot Account then you can request to have your number removed, the process will take till the closing of the business day to process so you might receive calls after that for the rest of the day. If you keep receiving the calls then ask to have it removed again and then ask to speak to a manager to make sure. The reason you would be receiving any call from them is because the number that you have was probably the card holder's old number, or because your name was the same as the card holder's and you live in the same area as them and they found your number and think that you are the card holder. And if you are a card holder and are getting annoyed by the calls you should try talking to them and see what payment arrangements they have available to you. They really work for you. But if you cannot pay, Citi understands that things happen and they will give you time to see if things change, just ask to push the calls off for a bit. And try to keep in mind that the people on the other line work for Citi and you cannot blame them for the interest rates or late fees, they are not Citi they dont make the rules on the charges. If you are nice to them they are nice to you...........and if they're not nice and polite then ask for a supervisor and give them a complaint.

- Caller| 1 replyCalls from this number or messages left for returning calls to this number are VALID and NOT A SCAM. I work for Citi with Home Depot Credit Services and this IS one of the numbers that we provide for callbacks. If you are receiving calls from us and do not have a Citi credit card or a Home Depot credit card, it is possible that somebody else's account has an incorrect phone number on it. Feel free to call us back and tell us that the number we're calling is incorrect. You will not be required to provide any identifying information, other than to be asked if you are the person we were trying to contact (we'll give you a name, you can say whether it's you or not).
As always, if you're ever concerned about security when returning phone calls from any business, use the phone numbers you can confirm independently of the voicemail or caller ID. For example, use the toll-free number listed on the back of your credit card or on your statements. We don't call for the fun of it. If we need to get you urgent information, you calling us will ensure that you get that information as quickly as possible.- Caller: Citi, Home Depot Credit Services
- Call type: Unwanted
- Reply replies to Tami| 1 replyThen another account has your number on it and we'd be glad to know so we can stop calling you. Just call us back or answer the phone when we call. We'll tell you who we're trying to reach. If it's not you, politely tell us so, and we'll remove the number for you.
Ignoring problems doesn't usually make them go away. - AS replies to ex-Citicard/ Home Depot AgentYou keep calling my number and I am not delinquent! What? Huh? Get a life!
- elokoanswer the calls, so this collectors dont have time to post here...eheheh
- Account Holder replies to CallerIf you need to get an urgent message out then you should use email or regular mail and not harrass people with 7-10 calls per day. I pay my bills on time and you dorks still call......
- ConfusedThey call me all the time and left a message the first time. The message they left was in Spanish, a, and b, I don't even have the account type you lot are talking about. I don't have any account whatsoever with Home Depot and I don't even own a credit card. This is ridiculous. If the person doesn't pick up or call back after they leave a message, they ought to check that they're calling the right number in the first place.
- Caller: CitiCard
- Call but no respondThey always call at 8pm, and when i answer their is never no one on the line and then they hang up.its getting annoying.
- Kill BillI received this message in Spanish on my federal agency phone. What make this situation even more funny is my agency moved last week to a new location and my phone was just activated on Friday. I have turn the number and message over to Security and CIO to investigate. Did I mentioned that I don't speak Spanish. My agency is very aggressive and something will happen.

- CITI SUCKSOh, here's a good one. They can call your card a charge off and start putting you in collections even if you are CURRENT and on a Payment Plan. What a crock. Citi Sucks.

- smartguy replies to world is bigger than youHey realist. Maybe you shouldn't buy things that you can't afford. It's people like you that think it's okay since you have other bills that are more important. How about the things you bought on a card that you knew you weren't going to be able to pay off. It's suddenly okay for you to not pay them because you think other things are more important?
