So do you have a sprint phone or what?  I just got my first call today from this number. I never answer numbers that aren't already saved in my phone as someone I know. And I won't call anyone back who doesn't leave a voicemail. Cause if they don't leave a voicemail then it must not be important! How many times all together do you think this number has called you?

        TTYL,
        Jay

I finally got to the bottom of this phone number. It is not actually Sprint, it a third party marketing group. We were getting as many a 4 calls a week from these people even though we are registered on the National Do Not Call list. I called Sprint several times and am also on their do not call but this did not stop the call from 866-463-3021. My suggestion is if you are registered on the National Do Not Call List report them.

You can file a complaint with the FTC if you have your cell phone listed on the Do Not Call site. I checked with them. You can put your cell phone on the list and report calls made to your cell.

I used to work for telecommunications and the National Do Not Call List now applies to cell phones. However it was at one point only for Land lines.

                  that is incorrect.

i have worked in collections b4 and actually we used the dialer all the time to call cell phones (sure it pissed people off but that's collections, not telemarketing).  the dialer calls whatever phone number is entered into their system, whether landline or cell.

If you're a Sprint or Nextell customer the National Do Not call List won't do you any good. And appearently neither does getting on Sprints do not call list. I've told Sprint twice now that I did not want to recieve calls and all it's done is stop the calls for a few months. SPRINT SUCKS!!! I can't wait for my contract to be up.

If it isn't Sprint, it is soemone who was hired by Sprint. I never answer calls if I don't recognize the number, but after missing several calls from this number over a two week period Id ecided to answer. The person started asking if I was satisfied with my current plan and went on to ask how many minutes I have on my plan. I replied by telling him that if he was from Sprint, he should know this information. HE THEN READ ME MY ENTIURE PLAN AND ALL OF THE FEATURES I CURRENTLY HAVE!  I refrained from giving them any additional info and asked that they stop calling. They did - FOR TWO MONTHS! Calls just started back up again. This seriously makes me reconsider my wireless carrier. I am sending an email to them today!

They may be a Sprint rep but there is something rotten going on.  They overcharged me by a few minutes a couple months ago (Sprint) as I check my minutes online (as all of you should who have internet access) by going back 4 days before my month begins and thus going over my cell phone month by 4 days.  This caused more minutes to be used, because of the extra days in there. I called and said there was no way I had used hundreds of minutes as my new month for minutes had just begun (checking online) and they gave me bonus minutes while they were checkingn on the problem.  I never got an explanation but saw online that they had gone over by 4 days on my charges.  I think they create bogus things like this to get you to up your minutes.  There is something "rotten in Denmark" here.  There are crooks running around looking for your money and mine.  There needs to be an investigation!

I highly suspect the number claims to be Sprint but is not.  I called Sprint to complain about the number.  Those who add there number to the "Do Not Call" list may end up with more calls.  I figure they are trying to run off Sprint customers or just add your number to other "junk" callers list.

just talked to sprint and it is them, though probably is a third party hired to do it.
after i complained and told them there are websites with people upset about the incessent calls, the gal told me I am the first to call and complain.  we have always been on their do not call list for promotions, and all of a sudden we are getting calls.
ready to change carriers if this keeps up.

I started getting the calls about two weeks ago.  After researching it on the Internet, I found out it's Sprint trying to convince me to upgrade my services.  I called Sprint customer service to ask them to stop, and they took my name off the list.  I was told I would no longer receive the calls.

I have been getting calls from 866-463-3021 for several months. I have never answered them. (It is really odd is that I have also been getting a lot of dropouts lately). Now I read that the calls may be from a Sprint representative. Has anyone called Sprint to complain and succeeded in having them stop calling?

I've been getting calls from that number too for the past couple of days. Just call sprint and they will make an entry in your account to not be called by any third party solicitors. The agent didn't say much but she seemed to know exactly what I was calling about.

To clarify, although some of us are indeed part of the National call list, we are still part of the sprint call list.  What this means is they still have the right to give us a call, for them to inform tabout some great discounts that we have as a valued Sprint customer. I do understand where evrybody's coming from, I myself doesn't want to annoyed by these types of calls for that long. So I would recommend that you answer the call and hear them out. So by the time you've had a 2 minute discussion, you'll either be doing business or you won't. All you need to do is inform them if you're not interested or agree to whatever proposal they have. It would only take two minutes of your time. Who knows.. They might put a smile on your face like what they did to mine..

I too have been getting these calls. Called Sprint customer service and asked them to verify if this number was a Sprint number harassing me along with the harassing Sprint text messages and her reply was that she didn't have access to find out about that information - which I don't believe, so I told her to google it, and she said she couldn't while at work - which I don't belive as it seems to relate to a legit call. She also suggested to use the security function to block 800 numbers and put this number on the do not call list. So, Sprint customer service wouldn't do anything specific to verify and terminate these harrasing calls and text messages. Wonder why?

Been getting calls from the same number also.  Only during the hours I am at work.  After two calls, I texted them back PLACE ME ON YOUR DO NOT CALL LIST.  They are still calling.  Last time I answered and just sat there while they said "Hello?" "Hello?"  then I slowly hung up.  Next time, I plan to answer and press buttons in their ears.  Maybe I should just call sprint and have the number blocked from my phone!
