Getting messages from "Resolve" on behalf of Fannie Mae.  Say they are here to help with my past due Suntrust Mortgage.  Any info out there?

My fiance keeps getting calls; several times a day, from this number.  He also has a Suntrust Mortgage.  I have tried to call back but I keep getting a recording.  Have you found out anything about this number/company??

Constant calls, both on my cell and at work. Say they want to "help" me with my mortgage, which is with Bank of America. Based on others comments, I don't think they are affiliated with any one particular lending institution.

Same here. Resolve calling on behalf of Fannie Mae and my mortgage is also with Suntrust. Only I'm current right now.

File a complaint with the FTC @ https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov   I did.

According to the law no debt collector is permitted to make harassing phone calls. When Resolve calls several times a day, that can be harassing. When they call every 30 min. let your phone ring and then hang up before the answering machine answers, that harassment. When they call both your home phone and your cell at the same time, that's harassment.

Your debt is with SunTrust, not Fannie Mae! So there's no reason for Resolve to be calling you; because you don't owe the debt to them.

Same here three times in 15 min. 2 or 3 times a day. I'm current with wells fargo

I also have been receiving calls from this number as well. They have called me atleast 10 times in one day. They are desperate for my business, which makes me uneasy.

received multiple robo calls from this number.  Every 20 minutes on one day.  Did not leave a voice message.  When I called the # back got a computer

Who are these SOBs Calling me several times.I thought Fanney Mae has been buried long time back

received a call on 1/31/2012 at 1:18PM from this number but didn't recognize the phone number and didn't answer nor was a message left

Its a scam.  Report them to the Federal Trade Commission.  They called me about a person who doesnt live at my house and who I dont even know.  I think they are trying to get people to divulge personal information for purposes of identity theft.

Thank goodness i found this forum, it seems they are a debt collection agency. Just received a msg, stating my mortgage is owned by Fannie Mae and they want to help and would like to meet in a nearby convention center. At the end of the message, it said that they are debt collector and any info will be used for that purpose.

The call says on behalf of Fannie Mae - we DO NOT HAVE A MORTGAGE, so we can't be delinquent.  Make them stop calling me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I almost took the bait because we are in loan modification process with BOA and this SCAM ARTIST BOGUS BS COMPANY keeps calling my number and finally left a (2 minute long!) message that starts "This is a Fannie Mae representative.  We are the owner of your home loan..." and then wanting me to make an appointment to meet with one of their representatives at a local LIBRARY to "discuss my loan options".  SO GLAD I FOUND THIS FORUM!

Unfortunately, a whole lot of people don't realize that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac DO OWN a whole lot of mortgages (far more than banks do), and these various banks being mentioned are only the SERVICERS of their mortgages, not the owners. You can verify this. Also, in some situations if you are struggling and need alternatives the banks don't really care but Fannie and Freddie do. Also if you have PMI insurance, those people also care a lot more than bank personnel working in various loss mitigation depts. Its just a job to the bank people, they really could care less if they help you. I am specifically with Sun Trust and at this point hate them. The loss mit jerk designed a plan based on a salary I made 8 months prior to when they were talking with me, even though I had sent them updated pay stubs showing my hours had been drastically reduced. When I asked for a forbearance for 6 months until I finished a training program that is in a much sought after medical field, she snapped "take it or leave it" and said she would "throw" me into foreclosure "so fast if I didn't take her up on her offer". I am now talking to the PMI representative who is trying to help me, and also advised that I report her to Sun Trust and ask for someone else to work with. But I haven't found very many people at Sun Trust care at all if they help you. Just recently I got a letter and a few calls from Resolve and was trying to check them out. They do mention a website that is one of Fannie Mae's in their letter and I do know Fannie OWNS my mortgage and Sun Trust SERVICES it. So I may call them but my best help at this point has been the PMI rep.

i too received at phone call from someone claiming to be from fannie mae on 5/3/12 the no was 888-272-5543 . i am reporting them to the ftc

We have a mortgage with Wells Fargo, Resolve has not called me directly but has called two of my elderly relatives multiple times. We are current on our mortgage. Any advice, who do I contact to report.

received a call at 2:45PM from this number but didn't answer since the number was unfamilar so don't know if any message was left but considering I have been long registered on the federal Do Not Call list and recently added my numbers to the State of Florida registry I am angry that I keep getting unwanted spam/telemarketing
