I do not recongize this number. Someone from this number tried to take $144 out of my debit card. I'd like to know who they are and why?

They did the same with mine and succeded, i had to cancel my card

They got the money out of my account and the only thing I could do was cancel my debit card.  I called the number and Like Evelyn said. "I'm sorry mam We cannot do anything.  They say they cancelled my account but they won't get anymore money out of my account since I canceled my debit card.  I feel stupid for falling for this scam!!!!!!!

I also just received my bank statement and found that $144.40 was also taken out of my account from phone number 866-465-5008 on March 1.  I called the number and was told that all customer service agents were on call and out of the office.  I left a message stating that I wanted my money back into my account that they took and that I was report them to my bank that they are a scam. I don't do business online ever and I don't buy anything online.

This company sells information for online marketing guides. They sell you a guide for $1.99 and in a agreement that is not very noticable they say they will charge the 144.40 and 79.40 every month after. They will not give any money back. I hope someone will see this before doing business with this company. My husband never even opened any of the information they e-mailed, he forgot all about it, after all it was $1.99.

What is the name of this mysterious company?  Everyone keeps saying "this company" but never puts any info.  Talk to your bank, what do THEY say the dba of theirs is? (sorry for the bad grammar)

Did anyone actually call that number and got through to anyone? What other information did you get out of them?  We need every tidbit of info so that somebody, somewhere, has an easier time in getting to the bottom of this!

My husband and I got scammed as well. We canceled this so-called money-making business on the internet after they gave us a free trial in December! They charged us alot of money & also took our money for the monthly fee. We canceled it and nothing happened since. Then my husband looks into our account and says someone charged us $74.90 a few days ago. He called the 866-465-5008 phone number and it said that they were on-call and out of the office, we could leave a message and they'll return our call. Finally, my husband gets a call from a man and he says that they charge us every month for this but he told them we canceled our account in December and they haven't taken anything from our account every month because we're looking at our bank statements. All of a sudden there's  $74.90 withdrawn from our account a day ago?!?!?! Now our bank is negative and we can't get our money back!!! We're determined to find out who the hell these scam artists are and make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else! We've been searching for their name and nothing comes up. Our bank doesn't even have the name of the company!!! What the heck is going on and why is this even continuing? When you call the number they don't even say their company name. >:T Something is going on here and I want to get to the bottom of it.

I just got off the phone with these jerks, the same thing happened to me they had been taking 79.40 out of my account since Feburary. I don't recall ordering this book and it is a scam they may be getting their information from somewhere else, I told them I was going to call the state attorney general office, then he said hold on I will see if we can refund your last payment and gave me a confrimation number.

I to was charged 79.40 from this number. I was hospitalized for a while for an illness and when I was sent home I reviewed my bank statement and was shocked to find a charge for something I knew nothing about. When I called the 1866 number I was told that I had ordered the books back in december and that their had been no money on my debit card so they could not charge me until this month. I asked to speak to a manager and was informed that he would refund my money only if I could provide them with a cancellation number. I told him how could I have a cancellation number for something that I never ordered. He stated very rudely that it was not his problem and then hung up the phone. I am a single mom with 3 kids and health issues I cant afford to keep loosing money this way. Does anyone have any suggestions as of how to stop this?

They billed my account for $820.00 and no one at that number can provide me any information.

Well welcome to the club, because just yesterday happed to me too, they charge in my account 79.40.
I call them and a Indian guy said is a marketing company that i registered in Dec 23, what the hell??????
I never  use marketing, but they told me my email and password number too, is really scary, i am afraid to go online now, planing to go to my bank too and cancel my debit card....

This company and others like it, obtain your credit card information legally and from you. They may be a fraudulent company but they did not obatain your information fraudlently. NEVER provide your credit card information to a merchant without reading ALL the fine print, including returns, refunds and cancellations. Most people sign up and forget all about it until they notice the charges on their statement, calling your credit card company will not be very helpful and being rude to the people working for your bank will not help either. Most the time these types of cases are an expensive lesson learned. You do not need to be scared of the internet just use common sense.

hey everybody i contacted the better business bureau they listed a name for the phone number 866-465-5008 as Myhomekitnow.com  and their address is p.o. box 821650, vancouver,WA 98682-0038.
Also the number for the BBB is (206)431-2222 this is the office for Alaska, Oregon, and Western Washington. So you might want to give them a call

All I know is they directly removed money($34.95) from my bank acct. without my consent and when I called them about it they(Dan) said too bad you are not getting your money back!!!

In addition, they are operating under several company names.  The "newest" name is Freemoneynow.com...funny that the only customer representative they have is "Dave".  My wife unfortunately fell for the trap as well.  We have had to cancel cards and, like many above, well not be getting any money back.
