somebody called from Allied Industries ???

Said hello about 10 times with to response.  Promptly slammed the handset down.

Received a call today 06/13/2013 at 14:55 from 866-466-4339, and whoever it was, asked for Patti, but I could not understand him, so he spelled it "Patty" and I told him no one by that name was here and told him if this was a solisitation call, do not call back!!!!  This isn't the first time I've had that number call, it's getting VERY old!!!

I've been getting calls from this number every night for a couple weeks. When I called it back a man with what sounds like an Indian accent answered. I couldn't understand all of what he said. He answered with something like this...."Thank you for calling" ....something??..... "agency, this call will be recorded, how can I help you?"

I also received a call from this guy with heavy accent.  I honestly think this is the same person/company who scares people telling them they owe so much money and that if the person did not pay there will be a sheriff to handcuff them and lawsuit.  I wish the US Government has a way of tracking these scammers.  They want to rob us our hard earned money.  Beware of these guys.  Don't let them feel that you are scared or intimidated.

Until today, I'd been getting calls from this number every day for the last 2 weeks. Some guy with a very heavy Indian accent claims to be from a collection agency about an account I never had. He was very rude. Told him I'd never had an account with the company he claims to be collecting from. Told him never to call again or I'd blog his name, company, and phone number all over the internet. He said something in a foreign language (probably cussing) and hung up.

This guy isn't anything to be scared of. He's just trying to collect his $6 commission. This call is a scam. Tell him you're going to blog on the web about him and he'll never call back.

A rude Indian man called at 8:30 a.m. Yelled at me saying he's the one talking not me and I should answers his questions! I only wanted to know who he was he refused to identify himself. He also wanted me to confirm the last digits of my ss#! Then he hung up when I said I refused. Scammers he even had my maiden name which I haven't used in over a decade!

Got two calls, yesterday and today. no message. Decided to call back in case it was legit and to at least stop the calls. Man with a very heavy Indian accent answered. Company is Allied-whatever- LLC,IMO, a zombie debt collector company. They were trying to shake me down for CC according to them I defaulted on in 1999. First, I am pretty sure that was resolved, second, the info they had did not match up. Call went straight to person, no voice prompts or recorded messages. Just weird and shady.

Got a call on my cell from this number today.  Didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer and they didn't leave a voice mail.
If any number calls and you don't recognize the number, DON'T ANSWER.  They do that to make sure it's a "live" number.  Once they verify that, they will never leave you alone.  A legitimate company will leave you a message with a call back number.  Don't bother with people who don't.

Call on the cell phone I've had for over 12 years. Caller said his name was Hari (or Harry), I think, in a thick Indian accent. Said he was calling from Allied Interspace, for someone with a name utterly unlike mine, and said it was a personal call. I verified it was my number he called, so he said he must have a bad number . . . So I'm assuming it was a debt collector of some sort.

I got a call at work from this number.  Heavy Indian accent man answered the phone.  Tried to get me to confirm my identity and my address, and I asked him what was he calling about.  He said, "A personal matter." I said, "I don't recognize ever doing business with your company."  He fumbled when I asked, "Did I give you permission to call this number?"  He couldn't answer, and while he was still recovering. I hung up.

Sitting at my desk and saw a call from that number come through on my landline at 11:07 am PDT. I have my landline forwarded to my cell and when it rang on my cell I didn't answer. I blocked it through Comcast but their service leaves a lot to be desired so I will probably get more calls from the same #.

I get calls from this number at least once a day. They never leave a message. I decided to answer this morning and it was a woman with a very thick Indian accent. She knew my name and asked me to verify the last four digits of my SS Number. I wouldn't do it. I asked her who she was with and she just said this was a call concerning a personal matter for ...... I hung up on her. With all the scammers out there, it's really frightening to think someone has my name and knows at least part of my Social.

They are called Allied Interstate, LLC. I had him verify by spelling it out. They keep asking for the girl who had my phone 7 years ago. The only reason I know it is her they are asking for is because when I first got the phone, she had calls.

NEVER answer these calls they are social engineering attempts to get you to disclose sensitive information. Any legitimate caller would leave a voice mail message.

I received calls from this number months ago. He called my boss, my wife's boss and threatened everyone. He told me that he was putting me on notice. I then told him, i am putting you on notice that i have contacted the FBI and FTC (federal trade commission) and have given them all of his information. I gave the name he used, the phone number, the recorded messages and all conversations that my wife and i had documented and that very soon, he would be going to prison. I then laughed, he paused for like 2 minutes, hung up and has never called again. Please contact the FTC website and file complaints on oversees scammers. The FTC can not stop them if they don't know that it is happening. Just FYI, last year the head of this scammer ring was arrested in California and expedited to India to face countless extortion and fraud charges. Chalk one up for the feds.

Has been calling at least once a day for a couple months. I figure they got my info off an app for a rental house that turned out to be a scam. I haven't financed anything or held any credit cards in several years. No reaaon to be calling me. I answered a couple times at first thinking it was a call I was expecting and they never spoke. I quit answering after that and have this number blocked with a call blocker program, and they still call. Hopefully will stop when he realizes nobody will answer.

Received a voice message today from Allied Interstate, LLC; said they were attempting to collect a debt and that all information received would be used for that purpose--they left the following callback number (866) 466-4339.  I called to inquire (since I was sure I had no outstanding debt) and they asked me to provide them the number they had called (presumably to check their call database) and then said they were looking for someone named K. Nishiyama--told them we have lived at this address (and had the number they called) for the last five years and that we didn't know a K. Nishiyama although we do occasionally still receive mail addressed to her.  The rep stated he would remove our number from their call list--hopefully that will be the case.

Received a call from this number today trying to collect a debt. It was a recording saying it was a corrections agency for a sheriff

I got he same call too many time and seeing the number I refused to listen to money grabbers but I did this morning and they asked for my mother who has passed three years ago. Also I kept on saying what, like everyone else. So I asked what stat they were from because in Mass there's laws on the amount of times and time of day they can call, she wouldn't tell me so I told her one more call and I'll have the AG'S office on them, we'll see what happens now.
