I got the phone call, when I picked up, the machine said "Hello" and I was redirectled to the VM, to live a message. I have no idea who called me.

I also got the phone call with a eoman's voice machine that said "Hello" and I was redirectled to a beeping sound and then the line hung up.

Robocall claimed to be Steward Medical, Patient Financial Services, but there is no reason for them to be calling us, and if they really needed to call us about a bill, they would use a real person, not a robocall.  Thus, it must be spam.

I also received a call that said "hello" in a robo voice after i answered... then nothing

I received a  recorded message in a female voice in broken Spanish accent stating:  "This is a call from patient financial services out of Steward Medical Group regarding  your account. Please call us toll free at 1 866-467-4909."  Then she repeats it in Spanish.   I googled in the phone number and couldn't find it. Then I google in Steward Medical Group at my local office and could not find this phone number in any of the numbers listed. I called one listed and spoke with someone who could not identify the recorded message and she called it herself to only to verify my inquire.  I have received this phone call several times over several months.  There is no reason for Steward to be calling us. I do not understand this message and will not call it for fear of spam.

The number does belong to Steward Medical, and this is how they contact patients who have an overdue balance. Problem is their billing system is from the 1950s and is often in error. When calling back, you may find the wait time to be excessive before a live human answers.

Steward calls me numerous times every day on my cell phone & home phone. I owe them for (2) accounts - one is about $150 now & (1) is about $350. I just got these accounts combined & paid them all the $ left in my FSA & then some, on Dec 30th 2016. I made payment arrangements with them on both accounts - I said I could pay $20 each until paid, & finish up when I get my tax return. They called & told me they would accept $10/mo for the $150 one, but that they could not accept less than $58.88/mo on the other - I told them again, $20/mo on each until I get my taxes.  They are calling so much I want to pull my hair out. They are calling when I am at work - on my cell, home etc.  I already have agreed to a payment plan & $ should not be due until the end of January - have told them to stop "harassing" me, but they keep on.... I have many bills from the 2 days this is from as I was transported from 1 hospital to another, by ambulance - bill is $600, & stayed 2 days - I would say I have over 15 bills & just because I have insurance & decent credit does not mean I can afford these bills all at once - if you have insurance you don't qualify for help at all. Well, I make about $2.00/hr over minimum wage & pay for my insurance at work - deductibles are still high & I only average 33.5 hours/wk. I actually had already paid the deductible for the year before this happened on my own, which is why I had FSA $ left.
