- Leave me ALONE| 1 replyCalled and just said give me a call back dont even know who they are!!!!!
- Caller: no
- hmmm..... replies to Leave me ALONEI got the same thing
- Pam| 5 repliesReceived numerous calls to my cell asking me to call back. No company name or reasonf or call. They call every day -- at least twice.
- jcl replies to Pam| 3 repliesIt is Wells Fargo Auto Finance. They apparently have new numbers because people stopped answering the phones because they call 50 times a day. I called the number back because they keep calling any phone I every talked to them from repeatedly and one after another.
- jcl replies to jcl| 1 replyOne other thing to note is I believe that they are required to identify themselves and they are not only not identifying but not listing the calling number.
- tut tut; it's rainingit's wells fargo auto finance.
- Caller: wells fargo auto finance
- Call type: Debt collector
- jcl replies to jclI should update this. After doing a lot of research I have discovered that the company is GC services - http://www.gcserv.com/collection-agency.html -
They apparently are working for Wells Fargo and performing a 2 pronged attack by both calling repeatedly for being a couple of days late on a car payment. All calls come up as Restricted or Unavailable and they say it is urgent.
When I had called to see who it was they mentioned well fargo because they must have pulled my account from caller ID. - phoenixrisen| 1 replyThis is a new number for Wells Fargo Auto Finance. They start calling the day your car or truck payment is DUE - typically call 3 to 4 times a day at all hours between 7:00 AM and 10 PM. We have our credit report that shows "solid green" for Wells Fargo Auto Finance FOR 4 YEARS RUNNING - never a single payment that has gone 30 days. But they still call - at your work place, at home, cell phone, etc. Surely they have more important things to do - like calling people who are actually delinquent. What a waste of man and woman power! Unneeded HARRASSMENT.
- frustratedinCA replies to jclThese people are rude, annoying and pain in the necks! They will call over and over and OVER again! They wont tell you who they are, even if you say you are the spouse.
WellsFargo Auto Finance needs to stop being sooo pushy. They call all hours of the day and night. Even if you are a few days pasy the due date, they call and haunt you until you are sick of hearing from them and finally agree to make payment.
Do not do business with them if you have a choice! You will egret it later.
My advice, don't answer!! LOL - annoyedcalled under "Withheld" - what kind of company does that???! He left a message with this number to call back.
- Caller: Wells Fargo Auto Finance
- Call type: Debt collector
- Andrew| 1 replyYup..it's GC Services which is a "third party" contact for Wells Fargo Auto Finance as they explained to me when I asked why they were calling. Wells Fargo is very aggressive with calls. Start about 3-4 days after due date and then call my cell, wife's cell, wife's work number all the time.
Luckily, I just made my payment so when I returned the call to find out what they wanted they couldn't give me a hard time.
Message they left just said message is for me and to call this number back right away. When I called back a live person answered right away asking who did they have the pleasure of speaking too. Then asked my phone number. Next asked for my address and I told them I wasn't giving them anymore info until they told me what the call was about. Then went into the explanation about working for Wells Fargo....- Caller: GC Services
- Call type: Debt collector
- Lisa replies to phoenixrisenOh that drives me nuts. Same thing for me, never late on a payment. But the very next day from due date they are calling starting at 8AM. Wells Fargo Mortgage is the exact same way! There are people out there that don't bother making a payment for months, and these goofs feel the need to bug people day in/day out for being a few days late (mind you, not even late enough to incur the LATE FEE) grrr
- Jen replies to PamWhen they call me it comes up as a "private" #. My payment is due on the 12th and it's the 13th and they are calling. When they leave a VM they only say their name and never say where they are calling from. I have made payments on time for 4 years now and they are continually harassing me when my payment is 1-2 days late.
- whatever| 3 repliesok so for one it is gc services and they were hired by wells fargo to collect your pymnt and when you were at the dealership and you signed your loan you agreed that you would make your car pymnt on the due date not a day after there is a 10 day window before you get late fees but guess what that does not hold off the phone calls and collection laws state that they do not have to disclose any information unledd you are the b or cb on the acct duh why would they give info out to a stranger would you want someone telling your business to someone you didnt want to know your business no and another thing the collection law states that they can start collection calls at 8am and end at 9pm if you have a problem with that then i suggest making your car pymnt on time and another thing they can call you as many times as you want until you answer then they can not call you back in the same day so my advice is if you dont want them to call you all the time during the day then pick up the phone let them know when you are going to pay what method you are going to use and how much and guess what the calls will stop wow its that easy maybe you all should try that instead of getting on here and complaining about getting 1000 calls a day hm i wish ppl were smart
- Caller: gc services on behalf of wells fargo
- KMA replies to whateverFYI, they called me asking for Micheal(I'm Jim)and I could hear laughing and commotion in the background. No reason stated for their call or ID of who they were. Without this info, would you call them back or "pick up the phone"? "hm i wish ppl were smart" yeah me too.... I mean you and I wish they (you) could type better then they (you) text. I have no business with Wells Fargo and had to go to this website to find out who is calling. Based on what I've read, I will never do business with a company that contracts unprofessional companies such as GC. I would suggest that those needing financial services seek a community bank or credit union and avoid monster mega banks. I also suggest checking out Clark Howard for sound consumer advice. http://clarkhoward.com/
- LindaThese Wells Fargo people call not only my home, but my daughters' cell phone when it is one day past the day it is due.I have found in my short experience with them that they are slow in posting at times as well,or the people we speak to do not know how to look up an online payment.I am desperately trying to refinance my vehicle after the first of the year.I thought if I told them to stop calling they were supposed to.The only reason they must call my daughters' phone is that I called them from her phone once.
- Call type: Debt collector
- Wil replies to whateverI completely agree that people should pay their debts, and that what you agree to at the dealership is a contract that is binding. I also know that people get laid off from work, get injured, have unexpected emergencies, etc., and sometimes being late on a payment is inevitable. I can understand calling constantly if someone was significantly late, but I agree with most of the complaints here. The response must be justified by the cause. They start calling your house, work, cell phone and family members the day your payment is due, when it isn't even late. I do believe that people should get a few days grace period prior to hounding them with constant phone calls everywhere they go. The reason? I had a similar experience with another company.
I had been laid off, but was only 1 month behind in my payment. I called the company, explained, and detailed my plan for getting caught up within 8 weeks. I made an initial payment that day. A week later I received a call and they asked me why I was late. I re-explained about getting laid off and re-detailed my plans for making payments. The next day I was called again and received the exact same treatment. When I asked if they just didn't take notes, they assured me that they did, but were required to call daily and ask those same questions until I was caught up. After nearly a month of this I simply changed my phone number. Then they started calling my family members. This was way out of bounds. I had also become late by approximately 1 month in my other debts, explained this to the other creditors, and didn't have any issues. - Wil replies to AndrewI got the same treatment, but wouldn't even give them my phone number. They tried to say they couldn't help me if I didn't, but backed off when I asked them to look me up by name. If you demand that they stop calling you and cite the Fair Debt Collection Act, they have to, since they're a third party agency. They must instead send you a letter. If they continue after you've asked them to stop, send a certified letter citing the Fair Debt Collection Act and demand that they immediately cease calling and only correspond with you through the mail. There are forms online that show examples of this. You must demand that they stop all phone calls, and not to just one place, or they'll call all the other numbers. Debt collectors are generally trying to harrass you into action, which I understand, but these people are over the top.
- JulieThey also call my husbands cell number and he has gotten into trouble at work because of it. Our payment is due on the 14th...they start calling the 10th about payment. I WILL NEVER deal with Wells Fargo again. I would like to refinance but we are thinking about just trading it in. But the are always calling. It's just not once a day, but 5-9 times a day. And the only reason I know this is because we have caller id and the number is one there.
