Got a call from this number and no message was left. Came up on Caller ID as follows:

866-490-5501

Left no message and is not a number I would recognize

Call received on cell phone but do not know this number (1-866-490-5501), so did not answer. Caller did not leave a voice mail msg, just dead air, may have been a robo call. Deleted.

I answered... California State Sheriffs Association and the female said oh,  Im sorry, must have dial the wrong number!

Guy saying hello with Indian accent.  Block number!

Caller Said it was CPS and it was a Survey > Does anyone work for ad. Company? << What year werde you Born? "that Checks it is a valid Survey"!  Hung up without even a trank you! All Seems to be Scan!

Just received another call 2 days in a row

No Voicemail, rang once and immediately hung up. Checked the number online. Probably an automated caller out of state that didn't stay on long enough to fully connect. Spam!

Unwelcomed call

My phones ID program advised this is a known reported telemarketer.  There was no message left.

Same here.  When I tried to call back, the number was rejected.  It is probably a scam.

This is telemarketing scammers. Block them

Yeesh - spoofed "Toll Free" and no message. As Americans we've had home computers capable of networking & lookups for close to 30 years  - I recall a white-pages search engine of sorts on CompuServe & GEnie - how is this stupidity still profitable? How many numbers have scammers made useless? I'd be more proactive if I were a Telecom CEO...
