Called today at 9:36am. Caller did not leave a message.

received a message today at 4:02 PM EST from a woman at this number; the woman mispronounced and reversed my first and last name and said to call the number to speak with  my personal account representative.  I called; after a recorded message, and what then sounded like someone dropping the phone, a man answered with "Hello."  I told him I received a call from this number. He asked me what number I had received a call at; I gave him that telephone number.  He then said he was at "Citi" and asked for my name and billing address.  I did not give it to him.  Instead, I asked him what name and address he had for this telephone number.  He then said if I didn't feel comfortable giving him my information, I should call the number on the back of my "card."  And he reiterated that he was calling from "Cit" and it was about a credit card.

Called my work number which I never give out.  Left a message to call them back and hours of operation but... did NOT identify what company/organization they belonged to.  Received two calls from them and was planning to ignore them, but I doubt they will stop calling until I give them a proper telling off.

Well, after getting called for over a week straight, I decided to answer. And I did indeed tell them off.  All she got out was that she was from Citi.  I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, and since they don't leave a message I figure I had to, just to put a stop to it.

This was clearly a fraudulent called. They called my cell phone mid-day today as I was driving, saying it was a "courtesy call from citi" to report that my November statement payment was past due. They had some details about charges from the statement, but a few seemed wrong. Spewed out some other wrong facts. Tried to get me to enroll in auto-pay (guessing they were trying to get my account info for my bank?). Told them I was driving and couldn't do anything. Didn't give any info. I was very polite. Later, checked my account and found all payments received. Called Citi and they told me no phone calls had been made to me.  Called the number back and it pretends to be Citi, asks you to wait for "the next available representative" which I did not care to do. Reported the number to fraud department.  I hope they burn.  Glad I didn't fall for that one, but also glad I got to see what they were up to.

I have been researching who is calling 866-503-8805 and finally called about my account.   They are calling from the HI Value division of CITI to help resolve any issues with credit card accounts.  They were able to verify real time charges on my card.  It is not a scam as someone else said for whatever reason.  I was able to get my account issue fixed with fraud and charges removed from my bill.  Seems to be in US.  If you still don't want to return the call,  just call the number on the back of your CITI card.. got to the same place.

Got a call from this number today. The rule is to not pick up a number you don't recognize because most likely, it is a scam. Don't fall for anything , if they say there's something wrong with your bank account /
Credit card and they need your personal info for "security-reasons" or " security-check" or even if they say they need your info for "verification " .... DON'T GIVE ANYTHING away . Don't say your name or address either.

Caller left a message identifying herself with a long numerical ID. She said they had "business with you" (awfully vague). They had my name and cell number (scary).

Got a call from them today saying it was from Citi and since no rep. was available to talk with me, to call back at a different number. This made me suspicious because Cit NEVER does that. When I checked the number online I found this info, so beware of calls from this number. It is a SCAM.

this is a scam.  Be careful.  Do not give them any information.

Received a call.  It was legit and from Citi bank card services.  I missed a payment on a credit card I rarely use.
