Have received several calls to my new pre-paid cell phone- apparently the person who had it before me has an outstanding balance with Blockbuster! They will not leave me alone, nad don't believe me when I tell them that I am not the person they are looking for!

I have the same calls every hour on the hour. This is so very annoying. This is also a call from a debt collector that is affiliated with Blockbuster they are called National Action Finance. I found out when I called and attempted to have my number removed from thier list. However, I can't get anywhere without a reference number . . . . so I guess until then let the voice mail pick up these calls, or have them wake me up early in the morning

Call 866-504-7050 and tell them to remove you. they work for Blockbuster, I was having the same problem. if you call the above number they will remove your number

someone keeps calling me from this number and says to call them back. Every time I do I either get disconnected or they tell me they are with blockbuster.  They state that they are collecting a debt for a rental that was returned on time.  Report them to the better business bureau if you are harassed by them.  They need to send information via snail mail and the route to collect a debt is much more intricate than what they are doing. If they are bothering you on a cell phone, call them and tell them they are invading on privacy and that you will contact an attorney and prosecute them.  They are illegally trying to collect debt that is not debt you owe.

recieving calls from 866-504-7050. stateing I need to contact a mr wilkenson, for an outstanding debt, from blockbuster sorry not me ! I dont rent movies! stop the damn calls!

They called me saying I have a debt but when I try to call back they don't pick up or I get a busy tone very time and I don't have any time of debt with anyone

I also keep getting phone calls from this number and can not even understand what they are saying until they say National Action Finance, that is the only thing I understand. I have tried calling and they always say stay on the line for the next avalible rep, then get a busy tone. I see a lot of people saying they are calling from Block Busters,I have never rented a movie from them and I pay all my bills. So sick of it.

They also do BMG. Called me about an account from 2007! (this is Oct. 2010). BMG is out of business and but I guess the collectors are trying to get their $ worth.

This is a Fake Debt Collector! It is a scam. Do not try to pay them this so called debt or they will have access to your identity and bank accounts.
