the person called sounded like she was holding her nose to sound funny and said I won a SUV from an entry, something I never do.

Not sure if it was a she or a he, but a person or altered voice claims you have won an SUV from an entry you submitted and to call 1-866-514-6562.

This no. would not Quit calling, they called 10 times in an hour, i have a trac phone, an they used up my min. I called them several times, and they said to quit answering my phone , whats up with that. They said i won an suv. This harrassment. every caller id was diff. i called one back and an old lady didnt know what i was talking about

I got a message that stated, "Hi, my name is John Banks of Prize Promotions. I'm calling in regards to an entry form you submitted to win a brand new SUV." He said I was a finalist and that it was imperative that I call him back at 866-514-6562 ext. 0. I did not return the call.

A man left a voice message stating we entered a drawing last year and we were the finalist to win a SUV.  The phone number they left to call back was 866.514.6562 Extension 0

Received call saying I was a finalist for an SUV in a contest I supposedly entered last year.  Said his name was Jack Stone from Prize Promotions and that I needed to call 1-866-514-6562 x 0 ASAP. I cross checked the # on caller id.  The number is an Ameritech land line in South Bend, IN and is non-published (no name given), but the name on the caller id was Prize Promotions.  When I cross checked the name I could only find a Prize Promotions in Pleasant Hill, CA. BBB has it listed as a general business services company with no BBB accrediation.

I noticed someone else is from Arlington.  Is everyone from the DC metro.

Got the same message about Prize Promotion and being a finalist for an SUV in a contest I entered the last year.  Same phone number and everything.  Has anyone called the number back?

I'm not from Arlington, VA but from northern Illinois (McHenry County).  I did not call the number back.

Got a call from this number this morning -- pretty early, like 9AM. Same thing, odd-sounding voice said I'd won an SUV and had to call them back at 866-514-6562 extension 0. I have dropped off cards for contests like this at car dealerships from time to time, but if I were an actual winner, I would expect a live human being to call me. This sounded like a scam, so I decided to Google the number. Needless to say, I did not call them back after finding this thread.
I don't have caller ID on my home phone, so I don't know where they called from. Only one call so far.

In response to the question above -- I am located in Palm Beach, Florida; I received the call to my home phone which is in area code 561.

I am also in McHenry County, IL.  I think they are making their way through our neck of the woods now.  Don't waste your time.

I got the same message about winning an SUV.

John Smith left a voicemail on my home answering machine at 5:02 PM March 11th.  Same as the others, Prize Promotions claiming that I had won an SUV and to call back at extension 0.

Caller Id was Sweepstakes Promo with 708-679-1708 #. Said to call 1-866-514-6562 though.

I got the call about 10:30 Am this morning...left same call back number. Tried calling it...no answer. Tried Google...found this.  Obviously a scam......

Same thing here Man named Stone called WOW!  I won a SUV didn't call back. I also live in Northren McHenry County.

I checked  the 547 259 3042 that came across caller ID it is a privite phone. and Ellet is a marking person from N.Y.

I man named Jack Stone called today from Prize Promotions and left a message on my answering machine saying that they had been trying to reach me for some time.  He said that I had signed up for a drawing last year to win an SUV and that my name was pulled as a finalist.  The message told me that it was imperative that I call 1-866-514-6562 ext. 0

I live in the Mchenry area and also received this call from a Jack Stone- I actually attended a promotion and won a vacation package my friend and I are going to take the trip together.  I have to cover some minor costs but you can't beat a vacation for next to nothing in costs.  Of course the people at the promotion wanted me to join a travel club, but they couldn't convince me to buy anything- I actually had a good time.

I recieved this call I my home #. The man, who sounded like he was American left a message stating that he had been attempting to get ahold of me, even though he never stated my name, because I had won an SUV from a drawing last year. The caller ID showed PRIZE PROMOTIONS 574-259-3005. He said that it was imperative that I call him back at 866-514-6562 extension 0 (who has ever heard of extension 0) unless your phone is in the bowel of the world. Anyhow, being familiar with all sorts of scams, I called this number. A computer voice came on then a message said to please hold while the call is being transferred. Then a message said that this call maybe monitored for quality assurance. A man answered by saying hello and that was it. It was like he was not expecting a call. I gave him my piece of mind and he hung up. I will be curios to see what kind of charge shows up on my phone bill though. (574) 259-3005.
