Has anyone gotten a call from someone calling himself john dalton? left a voicemail on my cell phone telling me papers had come across his desk pertaining to complaints and charges against me but I needed to confirm my residence and place of employment so that I can be served.  If there were charges, would he not have that information? He left a number for me to call directly to the people that had a "claim" against me but when I called it, it was Nationwide. Then said in a cocky voice, that I have "officially been notified".   Is this another one of those scams I read about all the time?  I have gotten these calls before, but they always have middle eastern accents but this guy's accent was different.  Any suggestions out there?

Threating about a payday loan after I filed bankruptcy in07

Someone claiming her name was "Laura Kelly" with a case # 1535786 called my mentally disabled sister on the phone, and said that she was going to be served with litigation papers for taking out a loan a year ago from a company called Nationwide.  They told her she took out a loan over the internet and now she is responsible.  My other sister who is not disabled called the company back to respond, saying this cannot even be possible, as the first sister does not even own a computer and furthermore would not even know how to use one.  The company basically tried to bully both sisters and claim they were coming to the home to collect on the debt.  This company is a total scam!

These people have called twice to serve papers on one of my employees.  She called the Attorney General's Office who stated this is a scam and that she should file a police report in case someone shows up at her home.  Funny that "they" don't seem to have the home address!

Calling about a past pay day loan from 4 years ago!, threatening to have me arrested for fraud. TOTALLY ILLEGAL, will be reporting this to the attorney general.

i keep getting a phone call from this number asking for a judy abram and i have told them multiple times that there is no one by that name and to stop calling me and they wont stop calling me now i have turned it over to the DA

This is the rudest company I've ever had the pain of dealing with.  They called me twice today on my cell phone re: my 1/2 brother.  Stated he was going to be served and gave me a phone number and claim number to have him call.  I asked how they got my information as I have limited contact with my 1/2 brother and they said he put me down as a reference.  They then proceeded to call me back in an hour (again while I was at work) and asked if I had notified him.  I once again stated that I did not want to be contacted as I have no control or even contact with my 1/2 brother.  After work I called back to ask them to remove my number and it was the most unprofessional call I've ever been a part of.  The lady told me to quit screaming at her (I was not) and she was so rude and condescending.  I once again told her not to call my number again or I would turn them into the Attorney General's Office.  She assured me that she had no reason to be professional.  Seriously?  This is not even my debt yet they are going to harass me?? Wow.  What a world we live in :(

I received a very upsetting call from a Heidi Green on my voice mail stating a formal claim #1974037 had been brought against me and an order had been submitted at her office.  She stated in plain English (no accent) that I needed to contact the firm back at 866-515-7930 to verify my address at home or place of employment.  She stated that I had officially been notified and I would only have one notification and chance to respond.  Very stern.  

calliy by the name of Heidi Green called my job which at my place of employment we are not allowed perSonal  phone calls on our work phone.  This woman then called my coworker and even asked to speak to my Supvr and
told her I need to call immediately and gave her claim number and a carrier is about to come to my job to serve me papers. When I called they answered global and I asked them what this was in regards to and they wanted to verify my address and work number. The woman was really really rude and I really could not get any information out of her what it was pertaining to mentioning fraud and other things. I offered to give her a new address and she would not take it to mail whatever she was talking about or calling in regards to.This company does have the very rudest and unprofessional individuals working for them whomever they are. do not give this company any of your money and if they talk rude to you than talk rude right back at them enjoy the pleasure of hanging up on them like I did!
