Message said it was HealthNet calling for my daughter with important insurance information, to call them back. I don't think so we don't have healthnet as our insurance.

I was weirded out by the call, but it seems they were just calling to confirm my family was still covered after we cancelled MediCal. They didn't ask for any other information, so if this is a scam, I don't understand what the hustle is.

Left a voicemail that said they were Healthnet, I just cancelled my coverage so they might have a reason to call. I called back and they asked why I called, I told them because they called me. They then asked to verify my date of birth. I told them no way, that I get lots of spam calls and have no way of knowing if they are for real and if it's about me cancelling yes I cancelled and just want them to stop bothering me. Her response was "uhhhhh ok" then she hung up on me.

Legit number for Medical.  Checking on status if you have made a change.  They have info and numbers if you need help.

It was indeed HealthNet, they just call when they see that you have switched from their system/health care. I let them know I switched they didn't haggle me very polite.
