- NOT "Juarez Seneca"Attempts to leave a message for "Juarez Seneca" (no one here by that name). Usually recorded on voice mail. Tells you to hang up if you are not "Juarez Seneca" although the one time I WAS home and hung up has not decreased the frequency of calls. Says it will pause for 3 seconds (pauses for 1-2 seconds) and then states that since you (the voice mail) are still on the line you agree that you are the person mentioned.

- Leave me Alone Mr. Walter Smith| 1 replyMr. Walter Smith id himself looking for someone by the name of Margaret Lantz who I have no knowlege of or about. 1 866 530 3819 called many many times, leaves many, many messages. I want these calls to STOP IMMEDIATELY. I am trying to do anything and everything I can to bring this harassment to a halt. I feel violated. LEAVE ME ALONE MR. WALTER SMITH. Any suggestions?
- Psy| 3 repliesGuys, I just called these people. They're friendly and stuff. Just explain to them that Brian Thorn, or whoever your mistake is, doesn't live there. You do. They'll take your number off.
- Me replies to PsyThey are calling my mother. . . I called 866-530-3819 and I get a fast busy. So how did you get through? What company are they?
- Wrong NumberAn uncultivated voice and primitive telephony leaves a ratty voicemail telling us that "Walter Smith" "of FNS, Inc." is trying to collect a debt. Apparently their dimestore machine calls everyone with the last name of the people they're looking for. Our Caller-ID displays "Out of area" because they're ashamed of their work, as they should be. Can't these unemployable types go back for a GED, or finish high school, so that they might find real work?

- IrritatedWe have been getting these phone calls and messages on our answering machine trying to reach Warren Scott to collect a debt. The message on the answering maching says if I am not Warren Scott, to hang up, or if I am Warren Scott to call 1-866-530-3818 about a debt. Walter Smith answered the phone and used a company name of FMS or FNS. He asked if I knew Warren Scott and I told him, no. I told him that we must have received 20 phone calls from him. I told him that we moved to this house 9 months ago and have had this phone number since then, and gave him my name and address. He hung up on me without saying another word. This seems to be a small company, very unprofessional, and probably operating on a shoe string. Hopefully, they will quit calling us every few days.
Here is a message from another recipient of the calls:
Recording from company FMS, Inc. telling me to push "one" to speak with a representative or call back at said number. Sounds like telemarketer but it's not. It's Financial Management Services, Inc. out of Tulsa, OK, a junk debt buyer (fms-collect.com). They will not even identify the person they want. I have had several calls from collection agencies for person who used to have my number. Almost a year now. Doubt it's me unless it goes back to my divorce in 2001 and that would have been under a different name. Violation of federal and state debt collection laws. Failure to identify themselves by their legal name. Calling with intent to harass and annoy. Using deceptive means to collect a debt. Had to hunt them down on the Internet. Waste of time to report to Texas Attorney General. Waste of time to report to Federal Trade Commission. Get letter back stating they use such reports for information. Maybe after a few million of us report them. Initials (FMS, Inc.) sound similar to US treasury Department's collection agency (FMS) which might intimidate some innocents. FTC should shut these suckers down for that reason alone.- Caller: FMS

- A. Torres replies to CALThis call was received from Walter Smith on Wednesday, November 28th on my answering machine asking for Audrey Torres. There is no one at this address with that name and I have never known anyone with that name. His recording stated that if I continue to listen to this recording (which mind you is on my own recorder at home) I was acknowledging to be Audrey Torres. Just because this person is ignorant enough to think that all Torres' with the first letter A in their name are the same person, does not mean I have to tolerate harassing collection calls in my home.
When I called to tell him he has no right to call my home, he said he did because I was Audrey Torres. I told him he should never call my house and threaten me again, or I would report him. He said he never threatened me by leaving me a message. I want this person to never call me again and I want him out of business for yelling at me and being so unprofessional. Even if he really was trying to reach me, he has no right to speak to anyone in the manner that he did, and he has no authority to tell me I am acknowledging to be someone I am not, because I am listening to a message on my own machine at home, which I needed to listen to completely, in order to get his number and call him back. - A. Torres replies to PsyNot true, he was very rude and insisted I was the person he was calling for. I have every right to be upset, I have not ever given him the authority to call me to collect any debt, and he should not leave the type of message on my machine saying that if I listen to the entire message, I am who he says I am.
- A. TorresThis person called my house and left a message for Audrey Torres, and said if I listened to the entire message (on my own recorder) that I would acknowledge that I am Audrey Torres. I have no idea who this person is and I have never authorized him to call my home to collect a debt. I just switched phone providers and wonder if he got my number from them.
When I called him back and told him not to call my home again threatening me, he said he only left a message and he had every right to call me because I was Audrey Torres.
He also said if I hung up I could end his call. If he calls again, I will begin to harass him!- Caller: FMS

- LiaI had been getting calls from this company for months, usually once or twice a week. I finally called them back (got through on the first try) and asked them to remove my number from their database. (They were looking for a Natal Jackson - someone I never heard of) The guy I spoke with was polite and removed the name. I haven't gotten another call since.

- Melissa replies to CALI had the same thing they ask for someone name Walter and I don't answer how can I report them? they call my house alot and I don;t who it is.
- MikeI got the same call 4-5 days, several times a day. The second time, I hit "1" to tell them to quit calling. They kept calling. Just a bit ago, I called them, guy sounded nice, and said "sorry, won't happen again". We'll see.

- KathyThey have been calling our home for at least 8 months asking for someone I have never heard off. I have asked them on at least 3 different occasions to remove my name from their database. They tell me my name has been removed, but the calls continue. I just ingore them now, because it seems like there's nothing you can do.

- E AnnoyedFMS calls every night at 6pm for months and when you pick it up, the reply is a recording saying please call 800-580-7611 for an important message. I called it several times and was put on hold for so long that I had to hang up. Finally I called and held for about 10 minutes and a rude rep came on line and asked if so and so lived at this address. I said no but confirmed I knew who he was. When I told her how they call every night and don't answer when you call them, her responce was, "yea, yea I know." This company is very unprofessional and should not be allowed to harrass people with a constant recording on your answering machine or when answer.

- tiredofintimidationI get strange messages from this number. Sometimes just loud background noise like a phone left on the table in a busy room full of people. Tonight it was a man whistling a strange tune. I have taken to sleeping with a gun as these calls have become frequent and disquieting.
