Received 2 automated phone messages. States it is not a sales person. I only call banks I have done business with.

After two calls from 'withheld', I finally deciphered this number on the voice mail message.  

I called the number back and got a recorded message that said "Thank you for your interest in our credit card program.  Unfortunately this program is not active at this time.  Please call back at a later date."

Exactly like Cecily - I called the number left on the answer machine, and it said "Thank you for your interest in our credit card program.  Unfortunately this program is not active at this time.  Please call back at a later date."

Ditto Cecily & Kathy, I sure wish there was something we could do to stop this sort of thing from happening, they are really annoying.............

I'm getting phone calls from this company called World Financial Bank and it's really annoying. Every day they call me and leave a message to call 866-531-4094 and when I do, it thanks me for taking interest in a credit card company and to call back at another date. I have no interest in this company nor their credit card services.

Obviously this caller wants you to call back so that they can get your caller ID name and number.  This company provides private credit services to many on-line and store retailors at high interest rates.    Check your retail store credit cards and you may find that World Financial Bank is the creditor.  Tell the store at which you have the account that their credit servicer is annoying and unethical.

i returned the call only to be asked for my social security number.  I told the woman that I would not provide my social without even knowing who they were, or why they were calling me.  I gave her my phone number and she looked me up that way, then asked me for the last 4 digits of my social security number and my address.  I know what havoc can be wreaked with only the tiniest bit of info...so since I had NO idea who this World Financial Bank is, or how we were affiliated with one another I asked her to send whatever "business" they had with me in the mail, and I did not give her any info other than my name.

I received a call from "Unknown". They left an voicmail. It's recorded saying that this is not a sales call and that they are from World Finacial Network National ask if I can call back @ 866-531-4094. I did and received a recording and asked me to enter my 16 digit card number. I don't know how these people got my number as I am not familiar with World Financial. SMH. Annoyed

This number is World Financial Bank and I don't have any accounts there.  But yet they said that it's not a sales call.

Becareful and alert with your bank account.  I've been getting calls for 2 straight months from all kinds of numbers and they are all fraud saying I owe them money and can settle out of court by paying a lower amount to them or they ask do you want a loan from us after I say I don't owe them a thing.  They won't stop calling and yesterday I noticed a 30.00 deduction from my bank account and went to the bank to dispute it and have to wait 10 days to see if I get my money back.  The phone number attached to the withdraw is one on those fraud loan places saying that is they're application fee for me applying on line.  I got into an argument with them and they kept turning it around and saying do you want a loan with us or not and hung up on me twice.  I hope they will be serving time soon.  Who knows what information they have on me to where they will be able to keep the money deducted if they provide something that the bank says it's not disputed by me anymore and they get their money.  I'm closing my account since that number is out there known now.
