American Profit Recovery

The person who called did not identify himself or his business, then asked for someone who does not live in my household. I told him he had the wrong number, but he would not accept my answer and demanded to know what residence this was. I would not offer the information, because I didn't know who he was. He promised to call back until he got the answer he wanted.

inbound call to my cell - left no msg - no one picked up when I called back - probably someone working from home with toll free number.  I have set my cell so it only rings when the person calling is in my 'contacts'

Caller Asked for my daughter who was not at home.  He said his name was Bob.

Called and asked for someone to return call when call returned was rude and raised his voice would not allow u to speak and used profinity. He states that his name is brad johnson form american profil recovery.  and i am going to report his ass to the BBB.

A few calls to my cell at inconvenient hours; does not leave a message.  I once tried to call back to identify caller and a man answered with "American Credit Recovery."

Received a call from 866-531-8864 asking for someone not leaving in my household.

This is American Profit Recovery.  I currently owe several outstanding bills due to a hospitalization and surgery.  Everyone has been more than happy to work with me on payments until this place called me, a man by the name of Jack Spielman.  He is by far the rudest nastiest person I have ever dealt with anywhere in any situation.  He demanded information from me such as social security number, birth date, mortgage information including payments and amount owed, make model of vehicles, checking account information such as numbers and amount in the account, employment information, other family members information including their names and phone numbers and addresses.  I asked him why he needed this information and got very very mad at me and said "are you not willing to work this out!  I thought you said you were going to take care of this!"  and then  demanded a payment today or he would be sending me to court.  I told him I would have to call him back to see if I could get some money from someone to help me out with this payment, he demanded that we conference call this person and that I could not call him back.  He got very angry when I said we were not going to call this person in a conference call at this time of morning, he demanded to know the reason why we couldnt do it now and if we didnt take care of it now that was it he then said that I am being combative and I am obviously not willing to work this out with him and this will be going further in the collection process to court.  I stated that was not the case and he said you get me the money and hung up on me.  Every bit of the conversation he was very nasty, threatening and didnt care one bit about what I had to say.  I called back and spoke to another lady there after I had a payment worked out and she was actually nice.  This is not a huge bill (less than $300).

I also called the FCC on this place and the guy there agreed this was way too far on the information requested 877-382-4357.  Call to complain and get these people fired.  I am not saying the company as a whole is bad, like I said the lady I called back to was nice so I am not sure if this is a company wide practice with these types of calls.

received a call from that Brad Johnson too, he was not rude , but didn't not want to tell the company he was calling from.

Received serveral voicemails from a Ron Martin. He does not identify the nature of the call, only gives his name and this number requesting that I call him back as soon as possible.

After doing some research it seems this is a collection agency of sorts, tho I owe no outstanding debts.

So yeah...I was LUCKY enough to get a call from Jack Spielman today.  =/  He was completely inappropriate!!!  He proceeded to shout at me for 30 minutes, and refused to answer any of my questions. Then, when I declined to provide private info, such as bank account numbers (?!??!!! WTF) he flipped out and hung up the phone. Total jerk.

Report this company to Attorney General; it's a collection agency; I looked up their name "google search"

John Green continues to call me at work regarding a past due invoice from my doctor's office of $96.00 which I have paid directly to the doctor, once I found out the insurance had not paid it.  Both calls this week has gone into my voicemail and the messages he has left I do not appreciate that anyone could listen too.  He does make an attempt to say if this isn't (my name) then do not listen or hang up but he continues with all the information about collections.  I don't appreciate being contacted at work over a $96.00 bill that has been paid.

Called my phone asking for my mom Rosemary, His name was BoB.  He rudly replied to my questions then hung up on me.  Never said who or what he wanted.

Just got a call from bob.  My daughter answered the phone and he got really rude with her.
