Mike - 28 Feb 2007I keep getting phone calls from this number. (last three weeks). When I try to call it back, all I get is a message saying that I am out the area to use the "866" number. Haven't called it back since the first time.. three weeks ago, but still I am receiving unwanted calls.

actual person.Someone named Josh. I didn't give my name. I just told
him to remove my number from their list and he said he would comply.

joe - 15 Apr 2008yeah I was getting calls from them for about 2 weeks. And today I finally decided to call back, and I was bored so I called for 20 minutes must have called like 150 times, just saying random crap.. Its a big stress reliever and its great b/c you get to annoy them. they started hanging up on me so, Im gunna do this again for like 15 more minutes in an hour or so, and then ill tell them to take my name off.
Its funny b/c whenever I heard a fat woman I'd call her a fat fkkn whore. Or If I heard a white guy id call him a cracker as* honkie in a redneck voice.. and a bunch of other racial slurs, sexist remarks and other crap.. I remember one of the guys was like, so your the bacon and turkey guy. (I kept on calling and asking if there was a gun to there head would they chose bacon or turkey?) Another guy also told me that I have serious problems..

jezzi_ - 25 Jul 2008i would tend to guess that every person complaining about getting a call from this # are registered on a career sight and either are currently looking for employment or were looking for employment at one.time. Each person on this list used their personal # to be reached at for employment possibilities. I hate getting calls from #s i dont know also, but i know thatwhen i put my phone # somewhere online...it's open for ANYONE to view or use. It's just the chance that we all take when we post our phone # anywhere online...even if it's just in our resume! Get over it and stop bitchin!

This is a toll free number, no cost to the person calling. So, if everyone calls them and says I just called to say hello, and do it about 15 times, it will run their phone bill up, they pay for the toll free service. It will also tie their people up so badly, they may just go out of business and stop bothering everyone.
I called the number and asked for a supervisor. I got Emily. I told her to take me off the call list as I did to 3 or 4 other supervisors. However, I was not taken off the list. So now I call and just tell whom ever answers that I just called to say hi to Emily. I did that about 10 time in 15 minutes. Finally, one of the operators told me they are busy and wish I would stop calling. I said I am busy as well and wish that they would stop calling me.
Try it, it may work if we all did it.

KimN - 19 May 2008I keep getting calls from this phone number too. I called and talked to some guy who said he was with Career News or identifies himself as a career advisor. I advised him 4 times to stop calling my number. He kept saying it takes 48 hours for it to take effect after he gives request to his supervisor. I get calls at least once a day but sometimes twice. I told him I was complaining to the National Do Not Call Registry and the ftc and the bbb!!!! They can be fined for doing this.
