I keep getting phone calls from this number. (last three weeks). When I try to call it back, all I get is a message saying that I am out the area to use the "866" number. Haven't called it back since the first time.. three weeks ago, but still I am receiving unwanted calls.

I got 4 calls within one hour from this # today.  I just kept hanging up on them.

Keep calling my cell phone of all things, not even sure how they got that number and then there is no one there!

i just called that number back, it is a company called career advisor's out of Missouri, they say they help people find out information on schools.  and they also said they do not leave messages.

i get atleast 4 calls a day. but when "laura" said they "help people find out information on schools" i guess thats what it is. so next time they call ill answer, ill talk to them and hopefully they'll leave me alone after that.

Don't give these people any information if they call you... Sometimes criminals will get information on people (such as whether or not they are attending college for example) and use it to trick people into giving out info that could possibly be used against them (such as a social security number).  If you don't know who is calling, and are not expecting a call, then I wouldn't give them anything.  Better safe than sorry!

They are a Career Advisor group.  They simply ask for your email address. number to be reached at, and address.  No billing information is asked.  They find up to 4 online colleges and 4 campus colleges for you based on what you're interested in.
