I didn't get a call from this number, but I did get a fraudulent transaction posted to my bank account via some "third-party" called Right Step, LLC.  This is the phone number which was on the electronic check

What did you do about it and has anyone else had this problem? I am talking to my son who is an attorney to see what can be done about this...
Let us know so we can tell our son all the cases.

We just had a charge from our account for 46.99 The Right Company LLC showing up as a check I don't have.  Our actual checks look very different.  If anyone finds out who they are and how to proceed I could use the advice.  Thanks!

I also got an ACH on my statement that came out yesterday.  I have not ordered anything and I rarely use my checking, I usually use my debit card and it has very recently been changed because there was an attempt to use it.  I only use my checking account for the mortgage and utilities, so I am seriously concerned how it was leaked.  no call was made to my home as far as I know, but the number was listed on the statement  866-544-7328

Notify your bank and ask to fill out a fraud filing, they are required to do that if you request it. Also you can send a formal compliant to the US OCC and the US Attorney's office in your area.

I received 2 charges on my account. When I called the number, I talked to someone who told me that I would receive a credit on my account. That was April 3rd. Of course there has not been any credit. I called last FRiday and spoke with a man named David. He was a jerk and hung up on me. I went to the bank last Friday and filled out the unauthorized transaction papers with them. I was told that it would take about ten days to process this. I wished there was some way we could stop these people. I hate dishonesty.

I just received a $32.95 charge on what appeared to be a check transaction out of my checking account; however, it is nothing like my checks and also using an old address no longer used by me. I used to work with Identity Theft and have take serious precautions to avoid it for my family, so I am also concerned! It is too late today to call my bank, but I will be doing so first thing tomorrow!

I have been getting the same thing here and have had multiple instances in my account for small amounts and one for $300.00. I called The Right Step Rehabilitation clinic and they are aware of this problem and have the FBI on it. I have also contacted my bank and have started there as well. I once had a security software company that I sold to Symantec in 2005 and we employed some of the worlds best hackers and we created security software programs for banks such as Citi, Guaranty, BofA, and all the such. I may get some of my former team members on this to track these clowns down cause this is what we used to build software to prevent. I will let you know what I come up with. I do however think this crew is on the tail end of their process and will soon quit.

Happened to us too.  We disputed the charge through our bank.  They are investigating.  You need to do the same.  I also called the number on the check (Right Step) and left a message.  Nothing yet...

I've been going through my recently deceased father's bank statements and have found 4 transactions - actually fabricated electronic checks submitted to and honored by his credit union from "The Right Step" LLC with the 866.544.7328 number on it.  When I call I just get a busy signal.

Has anyone had any luck making any progress to stop these [***]?
