Calls every day without fail.

calls daily, usually don't answer, after weeks of calling I answered- it was for my husband and wouldn't leave a message- told me it was a courtesy call and would call back and then hung up before I could say anything else

if you call back the phone number then you can take your number off of the PA fire something call list.
Just follow the prompts to be removed.

Thanks - that was the best news of my day. I called, followed the prompts, and the little voice said I would be removed from their marketing list.  Hooray!!  Hope it's true...

wells fargo tring to give me free stuff

Continues to call.  Have caller ID so don't answer.  Not interested in sales.  Want my name & number removed from their call list immediately.

On my caller id it says "800 Service".  They never leave a message and I don't pick up. They call every day, sometimes more than 1 time.  Today I got another "800 Service" call, but from 888-202-3066.  I guess they are trying another number to reach me.  It's so frustrating!

Daily calls. Twice there was someone there. first was a credit card pitch. The second was an insurance pitch and they knew which bank I used.
All the rest of the calls, there was never anyone there. Jerks.

daily calls. I asked my date of birth. I would not give it to them. They said something about health insurance through the bank. I did not give any info.

This number called around 12 pm cst yesterday.  No message, no Caller ID text, but it is good to read the other comments here...

I have heard that if they (or any other telemarketer) leave a message, by law they can't call you until you call them, hence the hang ups...

THIS NUMBER CALLS ALL DAY LONG!!!

This number has been calling 1-2 times a day. They asked for my wife. I asked if I could have her return their call as she was busy at the time. They said it was a courtesy call and they would call back. They hung up before I could respond. I called the number on ID and followed the prompts to be removed. They are still calling (I am not answering the calls and no message being left).

Very rude to say the least.

Called on June 4th, 2008 @ 9:39 AM.
I let it ring.  It rolled over to the answering machine.  
They stayed on the line but said nothing.

Called today and would only speak with Mr. Ridgeway regarding our mortgage.

I didn't answer.  Let the machine pick up but they hung up instead.

This is one of a myriad of numbers from outfits associated with Wells Fargo Mortgages.  They call endlessly offering fire insurance, mortgage insurance, health insurance, insurance insurance, credit cards, etc.  Never leave a message, but never answer the phone, either.

But you can stop the madness by calling 1-888-528-8460.  This is an automated system which will take your telemarketing preferences and (dear Lord, I hope) forbid them from calling or sending direct mail.
