This number called and when I answered, they hung up.

BBVA Compass bank, letting me know they are issuing customers new debit cards due to the Target incident.

They claimed to be BBVA Compass letting me know I will get a  new credit card due to a security breach. However, they wanted my card # or SS# but I wouldn't give it to them. I called my BBVA Bank Rep and he said never give that info over the phone and it wasn't them.

Called saying my debit card may have been at risk for security breech. Company asked for debit card number and my full social security number. Can't be legit!

Same call stating bbva compass asking for card # ..I replied " you called me , what # do you have on record?". They hung up!

This number called on 4/1/14 (April Fools Day of all days) claiming to be BBVA Compass, and that my debit card had been
compromised and wanting me to verify my last 4 digits on the card and my bank account number and state my password....
I thought for a second and asked the woman on the on the phone her name, compass employee number, the state she was calling from, and the name of her direct manager she reported too.  She hung up the phone at once...  I guess it was
something that I said...  I called the real COMPASS BANK and reported the 1-866-551-1675 and compass verified that this is a fraudulent number claiming to be compass bank,  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO - the authorities are on to them now and they will be incarcerated with in days.. Lets hope that none of their pappys have a good debit card to post their [***]-rouch *sses out of jail.  

Thanks for the good info!  I got the call from "BBVA" too... didn't return it since it's clearly a spoof.

Got a call from this number trying to get my CC# and/or SSN#.  Don't fall for it!
