Angela Moore from unknown company left a message regarding an order that was submitted which needs address and employment verification. States there are charges against the person and they have one chance to discuss the matter. She provided two possible last names on the message, she guessed right on one of them, but wrong first name. Very threatening tone. Caller ID showed all 0s, she left this number on the message.

Call stating if I don't call this number 866 554 8913 I will go to jail

Says i have a summon and i only have one chance to discuss this matter. And to call back this number. He only gave his first name and never said the name
Of the company he is working with. They need to stop.

Lady called me asking for my brother when i told her she had the wrong number she yelled at me and told me she wasn't wrong and that he has 3 pending charges against him that if he doesn't get in contact with her today she will be serving him tomorrow. She's called my mom and dad and my grandmother. The case number she gave me doesn't match the other two she gave my brother and my father.

You are not warned if a summons is coming AND it is illegal to discuss matters (brother) with a third party (you).

The same thing for me but for my dad.

Got a call in reference to a relative of mine from 866-554-8913.  Same thing that they needed to verify home address and place of employment to.  I called back to phish for some information and the female was willing to give it up like a cheap date.  Then when she found out I was not who I said I was she tried to retract the information that she had given to me.  That is was charges stemming from an old debt and a court appearance was being processed and blah blah blah.  then she got real nasty with me and I told her it was illegal what they were doing and she told me see you in court.  LMAO.  That is how innocent people get taken advantage of in our society with idle threats.  I would like to get the address and serve them with a civil lawsuit of my own.

NIA SIMONE ID# 55473 CALLED MY OFFICE AT 2:00 AND AGAIN AT 3:00 BUT THE SECOND TIME SHE CALLED SHE YELLED AT ME STATING THAT SHE WOULD COME TO MY PLACE OF BUSINESS AND EMBARRASS ME IN FRONT OF MY COLLEGES.  SHE CALLED FROM 281-607-5248 WITH CALL ID 504

A PERSON NAME IRIS MOORE CALLED MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT AND THREATENED A SUMMOONS WOULD BE DELIVERED FOR CRIMINAL CHECK FRAUD CHARGES AGAINST ME SHE HAS CALLED ALL MY FAMILY MEMBERS AND TOLD THEM I WAS ON MY WAY TO JAIL THIS IS A SCAM

It's not a scam. If you're being called, you're a dead beat who didn't pay a debt or someone who twisted info to get money (in other words, intent to defraud). You didnt pay and dont intend to pay back so you're being called. Pay your bills and they won't call.

Total scam.   Check fraud is a crime.  Public prosecutors handle crimes.  Debt collectors have nothing to do with the prosecution of crimes.  Period.  Being in ordinary civil debt is not a crime and you cannot be arrested for it.  If someone wrote a bad check, they'd hear about from either the bank or the payee, they wouldn't  hear bout it by cold call from a debt collector.   Yes, either the bank or the payee could chose to go civil suit, but in that case you'd hear about it in writing from the attorney for the other side, you wouldn't hear about if from some cold call  .

This is a total debt scamming operation.  Don't know where they are but I'm thinking somewhere in the Midwest.

Sounds similar to the idiot who called me. Claimed someone with my same last name used me and my number as a reference for something and I better cough up info on where he could be located. After telling her I had no idea who this person was and that she had the wrong number, she got really nasty and threatening, saying if I didn't cooperate and get a message to this mystery person they would file criminal charges against me and she would send out two deputy to arrest me right then and there. That's when I knew it was all BS. I WAS OUT OF TOWN. she had no idea where I was and plus no professional is going to speak that way to u for no reason. I actually told her to Fk off! She seemed taken aback by that and pretended to be insulted. I just hung up. She never called back.
