- JBI got a few calls from "Premier Portfolio". The last call was a recording saying I have 24 hrs to call back or my file will be returned.... blah... blah.... blah.. They said to call them back at 866-567-4876, but the caller ID said 702-359-9686. They also have called from 866-532-1945. I looked up the call back number it says its "Niagra Portfolio" these idiots cant keep they own s&^t straight, but try hard as hell to get someone to fall for their load of horse pucky. just to humor them, I called them from a different phone number, gave them a fake name, they started right up with the same line of BS, just like it was a legit deal. I told them to screw themselves, he said the cops are on the way to pick me up. I said I will be ready to go in 5 minutes, just had to use the bathroom first, tell them I will be outside waiting. Good thing I used the jon, or I would have pissed myself waiting. DONT FALL FOR THEIR CRAP

- Brittsny replies to So TiredSo funny both my dad and step mom got phone calls today from them today! One number was from Indianapolis and the other from Georgia! Saying I write a bad check I don't even know how to write checks lol! And they haven't contacted me not once but keep calling my parents phone! My step mom spoke with a Mr. Cruz and said I needed to call back so they can get a statement from me! I've never in my life heard of them before! One dealt with plenty of debt collectors calls and handled them but never this one! They are playing games and I don't have the money or time to waste it!
- JI got same call. They called my quarterbacking for me. How do I stop the calls? They say scary things.

- Tenisha| 1 replyJust received a call from them, and they're saying I had a bad check. Then called back again saying that I had 24 hours to return the call or they would take further actions. Reached a live person when called back who forwarded me to the "case manager" then had me on hold for 10 minutes.
- Caller: Premiere Portfolio Group
- CWG40 replies to TenishaTotal scam. Writing a bad check is a crime. If you were suspected of that crime you'd have been interviewed on a face-to-face basis by members of law enforcement. You'd have received a notification from the bank. The bank (or payee) would have the option to make a criminal complaint. In any event no debt collector has anything to do with law enforcement or check fraud. This is simply an attempt to scare you into paying them money. Do not fall for it. Do not talk to these people. Ignore and block the call.
Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:
1. Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2. Demand a debt validation letter by US mail. E-mail no good.
3. Do not pay the collection agent or anyone else a dime until the debt is validated
Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.
If they are bothering you, report them:
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection (Threatening criminal process in order to collect a civil debt is a clear violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.)
Also contact your local attorney general
If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.
You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them. Tell 'em no scammy debt collector is going to push you around.
You have to get tuff with these people because, being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking). the only thing they understand. - Bob in FLsame as above. Left a message saying they had my dishonored check with my S# and routing # on it, please call them. Not going to happen as I NEVER write my SS# on a check except for tax pmt to US Treasury, and oh yeah, 99% of my checks are e-checks dummy, and my bank does not send them out unless cash is there in acct. Had I actually written a bad check, my bank would have notified me, not you fools.
Too hard to do honest work so they try to steal your money.- Caller: Premiere Portfolio Group
