I got a call from a guy named Peter, said he was trying to reach my friend. Asked who he was with and what for, he got snippy and said it was about a debt. I am a debt collector, what a coincidence, so I knew what he was doing. I told him I wouldn't give out her info, he called me irresponsible, said I must be just like my friend. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he refused. He gave me information about her debt and he even gave out her ENTIRE social security number. Said he was working for Jason Reed Law Firm, when I called back a second time I was told the company was Financial Infractions. When I asked to speak to a supervisor that time I was told that I was "useless" that the company could get no information from me and then hung up. DO NOT Give these people any information about anyone, no matter what they tell you. They broke MANY laws by giving me this info. Either they are [***] debt collectors who make honest folks like me look bad, or they are just a scam. If you get a call from them tell Peter I said to eff off.

I posted this from another number:  800-253-8218.  Just enter that number and read all the posts there.  This was a response to one of the scammers that likes to leave posts on here saying they are following the laws of the FDCPA.  And they like to say they are "working hard to trace our IP addresses" for all the people that are leaving posts like mine and that they don't like "us" making a bad impression of THEIR company.  So here is my response:

LMFAO!  You people are a joke!  You're not asking for any money from our end????  You are just making us aware of the situation????  WHAT A JOKE YOU ARE!  Make "clear" of these questions:

1  Why do you keep calling when asked to stop?
2  Why do you threaten with arrests?
3  Why do you say you are a law firm when you are not?
4  Why do you say you can't send anything in the mail when asked?
5  Why do you tell people to show up for court when there are not even papers filed?  And when asked what jurisidiction these "papers" were filed, you don't even know?  And why when asked what courthouse to show up at you say "pick one".
6  Why do you say you are sending officers or authorities and nobody ever shows up?
7  Why do you say you are working for a criminal division office or legal affidavit Office, when you do not?
8  Why do you use bad language and yell on the phone?
9  Why do you post stupid comments like these on this website?
10 Why do you say that your represent pay day loan companies when you do not?
11 Why do you not state your full name and office name when somebody calls you?
12 Why can't you speak English?
13 Why do you use made up American names that you can't even spell?
14 Why do you disquise your voice on one conversation and switch from being an officer to a supervisor to an attorney?
15 Why do you say you are an officer and don't even know what branch of law enforcement you are with when asked?
16 Why don't you listen to what people tell you when they say they never took out a payday loan and have the papers to prove it?
17 Why don't you get a real job?
18 Why do you lie and say stupid things and tell people to drive safely?

Answer those questions on here if you have the balls.  Or if you don't have any balls, ask the idiot sitting next to you if you can borrow some.  But then again, none of you have balls! You think you are laughing now at all these comments people post?  That's EXACTLY what we are doing when you leave one!

I hope they get on here and leave more of their stupid little posts.  They like to paste and copy the same one's from other sites.  They can't even spell or make out correct grammar.  And isn't it funny that a heavy, accented, obviously foreign person has a name like Peter, Mike, Mark, Henry, David, etc???  That's the BIG giveaway that this is a total scam the minute they call.

So please, to all the people that get calls from these sharks, just remember that they cannot do a thing to you. Period.  Don't be scared of the threatening, screaming, cussing, etc.  It's all a lie.  The minute you hear that heavy indian accent voice just hang up and keep hanging up the minute you hear them.  Do not pay them a dime!  Do not give out ANY bank info, credit card info, or any other information.

There are honest, FDCPA abiding, debt collectors out there.  They will always identify themselves and state the company's name when they answer the phone or greet you, stop calling you at work when you ask them, and they will send you legit paperwork on the debt when asked.  They will do everything the FDCPA says that a legit and legal debt collector should do.  These scammers don't do any of these things.

Be very careful with these scammers and know your rights.  Don't be scared of them and don't let them intimidate you in any way.  That's how they work and that's how they get people to give them money.  And if they do call, report them to your State Attorney Generals office, the Florida State Attorney General's office, the Better Business Bureau, the FCC and the FBI.  Jason Reed & Associates is on the BBB with a very low rating and has had many complaints about them.  You can file a complaint against them.  Do this because the more people file a complaint, this will get them shut down and caught and prosecuted.

Just got yet another call from these guys from India my guess? Stated on my voice mail his name was Sam Scott this time. The number shows up on my caller ID as 500-447-852 no tenth digit, last call 6/23/09 different name and stated I would be sued by there clinet but didnt know how much? He Told me to call him back this time at 866-570-0132 after all the threats  of course! Last time I dealt with these guys from India in Florida they got there hands on $1200.00 out of my old account which showed up on my bank (as pay my bill) cant be traced. Now they still want more it looks like. I turned them into the payday loan places lawyer (which I owed no money).
Sam Scott said this time they will contact my place of employment inform my manager and all bosses and have me also arrested and I'll do 9 months jail time and they have sued me for a sum of $8296.00 on some loan???? Never have taken a sum out like that? He stated I need my lawyer to contact him and to have a bright future ahead and God bless me. ha. I'm so very sick of these scammers!!!! I am under doctors care and meds for a nervous disorder and they call my work number  all the time thinking I'm down right stupid and will fall for this scam once again! Ok my nerves have had enough! Now back to the FBI, State Attorneys office, Florida's state attorneys Gen. office, Better Business, the FCC, and my state police to file extortion charges against these evil souls that work for this BBB fraudulent office based in Florida or even India.

Hey folks I wrote on these people above. Called them just now, I demanded whom I owed this $8296.00 too, meaning the the clients . They gave me names Cash Net dot com, and quickest cash advance dot com etc....funny I do have loans with these vendors right now but my 1st payment isnt even due yet!!!! I'm in great standing with them or they wouldnt re-loan. What one thing this fraudulent company is doing is they are scipping people's personal info when you apply for a loan online and trying to extort money out of you! Last time it worked they said I owed 2005 and made me dought myself. Report them to the federal trade commission as well for extortion! I believe they maybe out of country since all that work there speak with an India accent  ! They tryed to connect me to one of the lenders viva a phone number he had, ( I once fell for this but not this time) ....when I told them I had the numbers to contact these loan places they hung up on me! SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!!!!! Also call up the payday loan places they state you owe $$$$ too and inform them of the attempted extortion trick (Payday loans have there own lawyers and a reputation they want to keep safe)! These people need to set in jail and rot !!!

They are crooks and they know it.  They break every law of the FDCPA.  And it's funny how they change their names a lot.  "SAM" is a new one.  They do that so if anybody calls them and asks for "SAM", they can say he never worked there.

Little do they know they are being investigated by the FBI, FCC and the secret service.  The FBI have traced many of their phone numbers and are building quite a case.  They've traced everything.  The crooks think they will never get caught because they think by changing phone numbers or their location or their names, they can't be traced.  Technology is so advanced now that it is very easy to track them down.  They have committed bank fraud, extortion and even mail fraud.  They might think they are never going to get caught, but just wait.

And I find it very funny when I see their little posts on these sites.  They can't even spell or write correct grammar.  And they won't even answer anybody's questions on this site.  The reason?  Because they know they have broken the law.  Also funny is when they say they are working hard to trace people's IP addresses on the one's who leave posts on here.  They can't do it and they know it.  I guess that's one of their little "threats" thinking they can scare people into not leaving posts on here.  What a joke!  They can't even do it.  It's a felony to "hack" in somebody's computer.  They are such idiots, plain and simple....

Actually the best way to handle this is to to file complaints with these agencies for EXTORTION and when they call TELL THEM YOU KNOW ALL ABOUT THIS SCAM AND HAVE FILED THESE CHARGES WITH THESE AGENCIES LISTED BELOW.

If you are targeted by these criminals, be sure to report them to all the following federal and state law enforcement agencies (most of which you can do online or over the phone):
1.    The U.S. Secret Service is responsible for protecting the country's financial infrastructure and payment systems from international and domestic threats. Call or write your local Secret Service field office to alert them to the details of this attempted extortion. 2.    Alert the FBI at https://tips.fbi.gov Be sure to tell the FBI that you are being targeted by extortionists over the phone. And if the crooks claim to be law enforcement or lawyers, officers of the court or bankers, be sure to include that information in your report.
3.    File a complaint with your local police. Most police departments will take a report over the phone.  Be sure to tell them that you're being targeted by an extortionist and give them all the details.
4.    File a complaint your state's attorney general, the contact information for whom is at www.wvago.gov
5.    File a complaint online with The Federal Trade Commission at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wizard.aspx?Lang=en


If these crooks call back, promise them nothing, pay them nothing and tell them nothing other than that you know they're a scam and that you've reported them to law enforcement. (And be sure to report them to all the agencies above each time they call you.)

I'm the person that posted that they said I will be sued for a sum of $8296.00 they called me again today and left the same threatening NASTY voice message now at my work phone. Sam Scott stated he'd be calling my boss, and all my co-workers to inform everyone I will be doing jail time if I dont take care of this money issue bla bla. Again all form Sam Scott. Again I called them back and again Sam Scott is to busy to come to the phone.
Get this... the day before on my call to them I got two names of who I'm supposedly owing this money too. Well I called the lenders...Nope not a dime do I owe them and I'm in good standing with these payday loans people they said. Well one of the lenders called me back and said they had been getting reports that this Sam Scott company was FALSELY accusing other people using there business name and not to give them money and if needed they would fax me my records of good standing and to report these scummy people to all listed above. I gave the payday loan people this Sam Scott phone number to also trace and for there lawyers to act on. Anyway as I called this Sam Scott and talked to someone other than he... this new guy said I didnt owe this $8000.00 amount and told me Sam Scott would never say a thing nor threaten me or my work place with jail time etc. He would not give me the sum I owed nor his address. Then I told him the payday loan people he said I owed money too would fax me my proof of being in good standing and I asked for his fax number...he said he'd see me in court and hung up! Please everyone REPORT, REPORT these scum buckets. What law among the many others these people are breaking is extortion and that is a true felon !!!! If you owe money work something out with the people you owe and in the USA you cant go to jail owing money, if you don't owe money PLEASE Still REPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are so close to being jailed they cant even guess! As I was told in confidence !!!

I called too asking for the person who said I owed money.  His name was Shawn Carter (such a fake name).  They said he was busy.  So "Robert" told me that they never threaten, harrass or do anything.  I told "Robert" that I had recordings of this Shawn Carter threatening me with arrests, talking to my supervisor, telling me to show up for court and that I would be fired from my job.  "Robert" called ME a liar!  I told him that I could play him the recording and he said there was not a "Shawn Carter" working for them and it must have been someone else.  I went round and round with him, and he kept denying everything.  Funny, he also said they do not have to follow any guidelines of the FDCPA.  HE ended up hanging up on me.  So I kept calling back and they kept hanging up on me.

These guys are just a bunch of [***].  It's funny how they change their names all the time.  Like I'm EVER going to believe that these people have American names!  What a joke.

They claim I owe a payday loan from 2005.  I never took out this loan.  I too called the payday loan place and they confirmed I never took out a loan with them and was in good standing.  The payday loan place sent me a letter stating this and I asked "Robert" for his fax number so I could send him this letter.  Again he called me a liar and that I would be in jail.  

All their threats are pointless.  They can't do a thing.  It's really sad what they do to people, including me.  I have filed a complaint with the BBB, a police report, made a complaint to the Florida Attorney Generals office and to my state Attorney Generals office.  Please do the same if they call and harrass you.  They are just a bunch of scammers.

Today is July 6, 2009.  I have spent time on the phone with a
"law office".  Now if that were so, but it did not take me long
to figure out who and what was really going on.  This guy told me
that his name was Jason Bourne.  I laughed right out loud.  Maybe it
was his name but the likelyhood of that was far fetched.  He sounded
more like a young kid.  He could hardly speak English.  Of course he
was looking for a family member, which I told him I did not know that
person he was looking for.  At first it made me mad. He was calling me
every few minutes.  From 4:08 to around 4:30, his calls just kept coming. I was hollering at him not to call here and that I was going to report him to the FTC and my phone service.  Then it started to get funny to me.  I turned the tables on him.  I started telling him what a loser
he was, with a loser's job.  That he didn't make any money calling me
every few seconds.  I told him I felt sorry for him. He told me that
he thought I was lying about not knowing this family member. And I told
him, so what, what are you going to do about it.  I will follow through
with the phone company and the FTC.  Maybe I can locate his phone service
and file a complaint with them also.

i have been getting calls from the same 500 number. i don't answer their calls anymore and just delete their voice mails without even listening. They called me 30 times yesterday alone. They also gave me the same story about being sued for 7850. but said that i could pay them 3200 instead. that isn't going to happen. they also use 343-729-0397 and also 949-743-1049 as well as many others! They made me doubt that I had paid loans off too, and from March of 2008 they have gotten over 10,000 from me. i am so glad i found this site! i have reported them to everyone i could think of!Hopefully they will get what is coming to them soon.

Seems like I quit getting calls at home for the time being but got numerous calls at work today, frustrating the receptionist to no end. The first number the guy gave (wouldn't give his name) was 321-221-0026 then called back and said "don't call number okay, don't call" then called back and asked for my boss again. I happened to answer and said he was busy and he told me to have him call immediately at 866-570-0132. I am so comforted knowing I'm not the only one the scum bag losers are harassing. I too have reported them to the fcc, ftc, attorney general and the FBI. I hope their nuts rot off when they are caught.

I have received calls at home and work from this number as well as numerous others from people with very heavy indian accents using american names.I have received phone calls from 813-283-0611, 000-000-0000, 321-221-0026 and 305-000-3528. Stop these SCUMS

I just found this site that has videos of recordings from these scammers.  Very interesting!  I recognized "Stanley's" voice, but his name was "Peter".  I know that their voices all sound alike, but this one I could detect because he has a slur when he talks.  This video is just another verification of their violations of the FDCPA and that their threats are pointless.

I found that video doing a little investigating on these crooks.  I was reading somewhere where somebody mentioned the law firm "Christian Nichols".  My calls always came from Jason Reed & Associates.  I went on the BBB website and checked out this "Christian Nichols".  Of course they have an F rating along with Jason Reed having an F rating too.  This video was attached to the Christian Nichols BBB report.

I would LOVE to post a video of my voice mails and recordings.  I have 3 saved messages "Shawn Carter" left me and 3 conversations with "Shawn Carter" and "Peter" recorded.  They are pretty funny to listen to.
