I got this call almost once per month. They did leave message that included a reference to a file number. The most recent one I received was a few days ago and this time they mentioned a letter which I had never received.  I did respond to a number which I don't recall if it's the same number as this one some time ago and a woman requested me to provide my SSN which I refused.

I got this call on 06/26/2007. The voice message said that this is not a marketing call. They asked me to call back to Joseph @ 866 570 6085 with an account number. I talked to customer service and they directed me to Patty and Slenger' VM. I did not leave an message.

I got the exact same call as the person that made a note June 27th. The exact same thing. I have no idea what type of business this is.

I get the same exact call once or twice a month. They always ask for "Michelle."

Every day I get a call from this number 866-570-6085. They leave a voicemail message telling me that this is an important call and that it's not to be ignored. When I call back they want me to refer to a reference number that they leave. I've called the number back, they tell me that if I know my parties extension to dial it now or dial the operator. If you dial the operator it tells you all of the operators are busy. Oh well it can't be do important.

I am get these calls, when I asked for cust. service, they refuse to tell me what company this is or what its for.  Unlike other folks mine did not leave a file number. It sounds like to me that it might be a collection agency.

Received Msg advising me to call this number back and refer to an account number and ask for Joseph. They are bill collectors. Trying to collect on an old payday loan.

Jerks called me today. Big mistake. I traced this number to National Credit Adjusters a collection agency in Hutchinson KS. They also call from area code 620 numbers and other tollfree numbers. They are a horrible bottom feeder CA that buys up really old debts and tries to collect. See budhibbs.com for more info. DO NOT call them back. Most likely they have no evidence to prove the debt is legit or is still within the Statute of Limitations for your state. Ignore them or send cease and desist letter from budhibbs website; his site has their address. File harassment complaints with your AG if they call too often.

This is NCA or National Credit Adjusters, a scumbag collection agency.
Their address is 327 4th St, Hutchinson KS 67501 and fax number is 620-664-5947. NEVER answer their calls! Write by certified letter or fax them. Tell them you know they are a CA, demand written proof of alleged debt within 30 days and demand they cease all contact with you pursuant to FDCPA laws. They will go away. If they keep calling you can sue them in your own state small claims court for $1000 plus all your costs. See budhibbs.com for more info. In today's culture anyone who calls you and wont leave a message telling you exactly who they are and what they want is NOT to be trusted!!! Dont be a victim!

the jerks called me again today and last night and the day before - twice a day for the past 10 months! always leaving the same damn recorded message asking for Patricia M. Malandrino and asking to call back and refer to an account number. I did call back today and it sounded like a mom and pop agency. I told them that this aint Patricia and they said something and hung up!

Received voice mail to call Megan @ 866-570-6085 and call was from 620-662-4433, also gave a account/reference number.  Also said their hours are Monday - Thursday 8am-9pm and Friday 8am-2pm.  I researched the number and found that it is National Credit Adjusters.  Also found a great site about how bad these scumbags are, look up budhibbs.com  The website has great information on how to get these losers to stop calling.

This company left a message on my cell stating that this is not a sales call and the call is for (family member). They also stated that Joseph at 866-570-6085 with a reference number is who needs to be contacted. Needless to say I am not the person they are calling for so I am not going to answer it if they call again.

Today is January 02, 2008. I got this call from 1-866-570-6085 today on a cell phone that i just activated. It is a prepaid phone that i use on occassion and it has been off for the past several months! I called them tonight and that wanted to know who i was etc. So i told them nothing because she didnt state who they where or answear in business manner....I did advise tell her to lose the number and she hung up...I called back and advised the next lady, if anyone else called to be prepared to get CURSED OUT and be called all types of MF"S and SOB'S.....Yes, Im going there!! LEt the F' creeps have it!! I am ,,yours truly in Dallas/Carrollton , Texas.

they act like the call is very important and that I should not delay in getting back with them. They do not identify their company. They leave a case (or account number). They also leave a contact person's name to talk to. I don't return calls to people who aren't willing to leave the company name and why they are calling

Again this is National Credit Adjusters, a scumbag collection agency from Kansas. See Oct 25, 2007 post for their address and fax. The FDCPA is a federal law which provides rights to those who are contacted by debt collectors. NCA is violating several of these laws by failing to state they are a debt collector, failing to identify themselves and by failing to send written notice of the alleged debt within 5 days of the intial communication. The law says any direct or indirect contact with the debtor is considered a communication, so that includes telephone messages in my opinion. Look for lawyers who specialize in these type of cases on naca.net and sue this sorry excuse for a company out of business!

Just wanted to point something out.  I use to do collections (Please note the words, USE TO, I've since quit) for a large Jewelry company.  Legally, a collections agency can call an individual at work, at home and on their cell phone in an effort to reach the individual.  Because of Privacy laws put in place by the Federal Goverment, information that is left is limited to general information. When I made calls and received voice mail, I could only leave my name and phone number. I could not leave the name of the company that I was calling from as this would violate the customer's privacy.  We also had the right to make calls throughout the day, several times, if necessary in an effort to reach the person.  If we did reach the person and they hung up on us, it was marked as a refusal to pay and would take the customer out of the system for a couple of days. If we were told not to contact the person at work, we did have to remove the work number.  If we were told not to contact them at home, another number had to be provided before the home number could be removed.  I'm not saying that the way that the collectors talk to anyone is right, in fact it's not, people just can't make threats like I've read here and on other sites.  That is illegal.  But on the flip side, collectors cannot legally leave the name of their company on a voice mail for just anyone to hear.  The best that they can do is to leave a reference number and phone number and hope that they get a call back.  I am soooo glad that I no longer do this for a living.  I've been on both sides of the collection process. I have a letter from National Credit Adjusters that I won't be responding to as well.

I have been getting the same type of calls with only a reference # and nothing else to go on. These calls take place at least 2-3 times a week and I will be checking into that bughibbs.com site so that i can put an end to this
