Who are these people, they are calling me at work, asking for my son. What's up with this. Said his name was Tom

is this a legit collections company?

I called the number back and it rang 20 times before I hung up.  Not sure if this is valid or not.

called and did not leave a message

they called my granny wanting to talk to her about her  auto insurance she does not have a car there fore it is a SCAM trying to get info to bank accts ect just answer and then HANG UP is what she is doing but if they keep it up the harassing phone calls going to contact the proper authorties

left message asking my granny something about her auto insurance . she turned in her drivers license 6 years ago

Got a call, they left a message saying its an important business matter haven't called back.  But the message sounded like an automated message and the person had an English accent??

Got a call from this number on my cell phone. Asked for me by name. I asked who was calling and they said Simm Associates. Then they asked if this was (my name again) and I hung up.  Did not know who this was.

I had a voicemail from Simms Associtate on May 4th.......called me by my first name and asked me to call back to discuss an important matter.
They are a collection agency and none of my accounts are in collection that I know of.

They called my cell phone and because I didn't recognize the number I didn't answer. They knew my full name and "Mildred" left a message to call her back about a time sensitive matter. I have not called back and won't now that I know who they are...I don't know of any account of mine that would be in collections.

Same here used my full name they called my cell bunch of times and this last time guy left a message saying they have information on time senitive matter...

Received another call from this number. Did not answer and they did not leave message. Wish they would stop. At least it has not been on a daily basis yet. Last call May 7th.

I've been receiving calls from this number lately as well.  First was a voicemail on my cell that was automated with an English voice. Received a call or two Monday, the 11th, as well as Tuesday the 12th with a voicemail being left by a real person, a woman whose name I cannot recall.  None of my accounts are in collections, maybe a few days late on one or two, but not collections.  By law no company can send you to a collection agency without notifying you first.  I've received no notification of collection. So I do not think I will be calling back. I might answer it when they call me next.. which will probably be tomorrow. Glad to have found this information.  

While their website looks legit, I do not believe them.

866-572-8804 is a number of SIMM Associates, Inc., likely a collection call on behalf of Sallie Mae, an original creditor on a student loan that you allegedly haven't paid yet.  They probably won't tell you that they are a collection agency, so be careful as they continue to allegedly violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Been getting calls from this number all week.  They just called today, Sunday!  I do have a SalleMae loan, but it is not in collections.  They have called my cell and my landline, and today was the first "English" accent.  The messages changes from "very important information" to "time sensitive information" to "in behalf of Salle Mae."  I don't plan on talking to these people at all.

Interesting. I remember another collection agency with a "different" name collecting on behalf of Sallie Mae. Just how many different collection agencies does Sallie Mae have collecting their accounts? It seems a bit odd to have so many w/different names.
