Someone at this number called me at work, but I was put on hold immediately ("Hello, I'm calling abut an important business opportunity.  Please hold for the next available agent."

So I put them on hold.  I've had them on hold for about 20 minutes now, and they haven't hung up, but whenever I check my line *I'm* still on hold.

At least I'm tying up one of their lines and keeping them from bothering others quite as much.

Someone from this company just called a friend of mine and left her a message saying that there was a job opportunity and I needed to call her back and could she relay the message.  So I looked up the number and it was Simm Associates.  The thing is, she isn't on any of my paperwork for student loans, only on prior job applications.  Isn't that illegal?

Keeps leaving robotic msgs on my voice mail for someone that I've never heard of.
When I called to inform them of their error, they were extremely rude and said that the number had been verified, which is a crock of manure.
    Reported them to the FTC.

It *is* Simm Associates.... You should return their calls within a reasonable amount of time.  Their name is not on any of your loans, as they are a collection agency.  Check the status of your loans, as they are likely delinquent.  If you talk to them, you can usually set up a reasonable payment arrangement to avoid defaulting on your student loans.  If left un-checked for an extended period of time, it can result in garnishment of wages.

I'M REALLY PISSED. These SOB'S called at 8:02am on a SATURDAY MORNING. I'd forgotten to turn the phones off in my house. I usually leave ringers off since the only calls  I get on my home are telemarketer calls, even though I'm on the DO NOT CALL which obviously is a complete JOKE to telemarketers since I get at least 5-8 telemarketer calls a day, which I never answer!!!! But used my landline yesterday when my cell phone battery went dead--so I turned on the ringer cause I left the number for 2 people to return my call.
I have NO student loans nor any loans of any kind. I've never paid a penny interest in my life. I've turned the phone off. The only thing my landline is used for is my alarm system, or I'd just get rid of it. So I can keep the ringers OFF and never miss a call!

This Simm Associate foreinger called me this morning about a student loan I co-signed for my niece. The same guy called in December 2012 threatening to take all my savings accounts and put a lean against my home if I didn't not pay that day. Relayed the message to my niece and she contacted her loan company and paid the bill to them, NOT Simm Associates. Today I get a call from the same person at Simm Associates telling me the loan is past due and I need to pay $7730. at once. No payments have been received since October???? My niece again contacted her student loan company and it shows she is current and her next payment is due next Friday. There are no past due amounts on her account. They may have legit deadbeats they have to collect for but this is flat out fraud and they should be held accountable. They are more a group of scammers than truthful bussiness people.

These people called me twice at work even after I told them to stop.  The woman claimed she was calling from Simms Associates and that they are trying to collect on my Student Loans but when I speak to my loan comapny, they have no clue who the collection agency is. I could understand if I was behind in my loans but when my loan agency has no clue what this company is talking about, there is a big problem!
