The jobs are legitimate and I am a real person.  I am sorry if some people get duplicate emails, I try to not to duplicate them but sometimes it is impossible.  I am not "preying" on anybody.  If the job doesnt interest you then dont set up an appointment.  You shouldnt trash people that you know nothing about.  THis company is growing phenominally and has won several awards in the last year alone.  I think people that dont make up their own mind and listen to strangers on a blog should do some of their own legwork.  Many people are making good money with this company and if they had listened to you they wouldnt be.  All you have to do is call the number and I give you any information you ask for.  I lie about nothing.  Some people are just to lazy to call and find out for themselves.

Rhonda,

It's hard to take any organization seriously these days who does not have a website,  whose name does not show up on a google search under their name, no yellow pages listing under the same name, and no networking efforts of any kind attempted.  In effect, of everything I have done to learn more about this company, this is the only site that has any information about it.

Due to this lack of information, good or bad, your opinions have become irrelevant.   The jobs may be legitimate, but if we know nothing and cannot find anything about the company you represent in advance, suspicions arise.

Are you indeed in the insurance business, like previous posts have implied?  Or, are you into some sort of multi-level marketing deal? Perhaps your company's experise is selling snake oil?  We don't know that, because you have not told us what kind of company you are.

Yes, I'm being ridiculous, and harsh, because I have spent alot of time trying to find out something about this company and this is the only site that came up!  While this may not be your responsability, this site will definately have a negative impact on your recruiting ability until your company starts doing some positive PR, such as creating its own website, so the rumor mill gets balanced, and later, quieted.

Please, give us job hunters some credit here.

Rhonda,

While you may be a legitmate business, I feel you and your organization need some assitance in your marketing and recruiting. Sending a form letter to large numbers of people based on a quick search of Monster.com is not an acceptable way to make contact of this type.

You need to understand that blank offers of interviews, with no explanation of who you are or what you do, will always be viewed with suspicion. While you may have a website, that in itself proves nothing and the fact that you fail to even mention the site in your email is even more suspicious.

My salary requirement, as stated on Monster, is $190,000/year and for that price I will accept the position of Sr. VP or Sales and Marketing. I can assure you it will take very little time for me to implement a number of new recruiting strategies that will be far more effective than the one you are currently using.

I await your reply.

Nathan

"The jobs are legitimate and I am a real person" Really? Who are you, exactly? My past experience as a skip tracer tells me otherwise.

Your "response" is full of typos and is the utmost of unprofessionalism. If you are in fact a true corporation, why is Robert D. Sell (along with Wanda M.) listed as a having a business out of Snohomish (UBI #600511317) dba RW Arabians listed in the WA State Dept. of Revenue database as having closed on 3/31/1988?? Also, in a reverse directory look up, there is NO EXISTING business as "Robert D. Sell and Associates" at this address. Why is your return email only listed as "Letter" and your email is wa.cornerstone@gmail.com, but in no part of your letter you identify who you are or what you do? Please know that I will be reporting you to Monster.com, Spamcop.net, Gmail.com, and the WA State Attorney General's office. You're about as legit as unicorns, dear "Rhonda."

My advice is every consumer is to do as I did-use a pseudonym on Monster and any other job site you are posting resumes on because there is a chance that swindlers like this will try and swoop in. Look for identifying information about a company and use an internet search before responding to any offers for interviews, etc.

Would you mind sending me the link to your website for your company. Before I call on any interviews, I like to research the company. It is hard to trust what you see and many probably feel like me, if you can't see what you are applying for, you are very unsure. I must admit, I feel like some of these people. Sending out a website for your company would be the most beneficial... thanks!

I am wondering why people automatically assume something is not legit just because a search on the internet doesnt immediately give you name, rank and serial number?  Not EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE can be found immediately.  Some businesses get bad press but if you look even Microsoft gets a bad wrap.

Try looking at the BBB. There is no listing there, and the reverse phone (the 206 one) lookup traces to pioneer square as an unlisted/unavailable number. If this is a legit business, there is no information saying such.  Who wants to work for a business with no reputation, no business acumen, and no marketing?  What says they'll be able to consistently pay a salary if they have no customers?

I'm not even slightly interested in working for some fly by night insurance company... my dignity is worth more, and i'm not going to be assimilated by them and turned into a shady scammer as well... i was immediately suspicious when i realized the reply email addy was to a gmail acct. i mean seriously, what legitimate business uses GMAIL to contact prospective employees..?

just my $0.02

if i decide to call, i'll post the convo so ppl know whats goin on... till then, good luck

I called and got "Rhonda" and asked about the job.  She sounded ok but dropped my call midway thru our conversation (just after I had given her my cell number) and she called me back right away to finish, blaming Vonage for dropping the call.  Now, after seeing all the messages, I am sure it was just to make sure I had given her a real number and now she'll pester me to come in, which I certainly won't do now that I've seen the above!!

I also got the same e-mail. I think Rhonda posted as "anonymous" once again defending this so called "company." Even if this company was legit if you google "Mega Insurance" or any of the other subsidiaries related to this company it first shows the actual "Mega Insurance" web site and then underneath are countless links with subjects saying anything from "Mega Insurance SCAM!!!" to "How Mega Insurance has put me $200,000 in debt." Even if it was legitimate company I do NOT want to work for a company with that bad of a reputation.

I am sorry but "Rhonda" you and you're shady company are taking advantage of good people trying to start or better their careers during this bad phase of our economy. Your e-mail attempting to defend your company has given me even more doubt. Have you passed High School English? I often make grammatical errors and I'm sure I have made loads of them writing this but I am not in any way concerned as I am not representing a company or trying to reassure a massive amount of irritated people about the legitimacy of my company. The dirt just keeps piling on. The background research on the web site provided by "Smart Cookie" has yet again piled on more suspicion. Even the testimony from "Jen" that the you cut someone off in the middle of a phone interview is very unprofessional. Also using Vonage? Wouldn't a legitimate business be using business based communication services from AT&T or Comcast with higher reliability? Every attempt you make to defend this company keeps getting refuted. Stop spamming everyone and get a real job.
