this lady-samantha-called my business-sd she was from collection agency-for a business that is trying to scam us. business infosource. this company called my office to "verify our information" then weeks later I get a bill from them for 500 dollars. told the company didnt order there advertising package and I don't want it and I am not paying this bill. No where can I find this ad they say is already out there. reporting them to BBB and attorney general. This lady is very rude!

they promissed me that they'll take care of this bill that i had from another company, they didn't do it, then i find out from a lawyer that what they are doing is illegal & only scam companies make such promises so they can make people like me & others belive that they r legit wich in fact they r not. SCAM SCAM, so i larged a complain againts them with the attorney general & FTC, the indicated to me that they are aware of this scam business & they are already investigating into it. BEWARE don't fall for it.

Happened to me too the other day!  Inter-Credit Recovery sent me this fax of a "Final Legal Alert" demanding payment for an invoice that was unpaid from Canora Pages (scam business Directory listing "company").  I refused to give them any sort of payment then told them I already contacted the RCMP and they are now involved.  He immediately changed his tone and said "I will drop all amounts owing to us if you just go back to the RCMP and cancel your file with them".  I laughed, said a bunch of nasty choice words and hung up.

Can't believe how many of these scams I fallen for. Why can't the FTC or someone put an end
to this ??

I get messages, faxes, etc.. from these people all the time, as well as calls from OnLine Yellow Book, Yellow Book On Line, whatever. Who can I report them to?

I just received the same letter from inter credit recovery for Canora pages as well. I am going to take all of this information to the RCMP in the morning, along with my records saying that we were NOT interested in this "promotion".  Also contacting the BBB..
