- Werecow| 1 replyThe call is from Direct Factoring EOOD, an offshoot of the YellowPage-(your state/country).com scammers. They claim to be a different company, collecting on contracts signed with YellowPage, but are most likely the same trash. The FTC managed to get the assets of the original scammers frozen, so they're doing a run-around as a different company.
- Jarvet replies to WerecowI just received the same call. How did you proceed?
- DorothyB| 1 replyI received a letter from Direct Factoring EOOD claiming that we owe Yellow Page-Florida.com $1128.00
When I called to ask for copy of signed contract they took my email address and said they would email it to me- Caller: Direct Factoring EOOD
- Call type: Debt collector
- Badge714 replies to DorothyBAnother answer would have been "Mail it to me" - "At the address you have on file". Don't give them the address, see if they've got it. Then you've given out no information.
- Reg T| 2 repliesI keep being bothered by Direct Factoring EOOD for collection on yellow- pages- Canada.com FEed up what to do.

- Call type: Debt collector
- Elspeth replies to Reg TReport them to the FTC and your state's Attorney General. They can't collect on a bogus debt - which this is. Please read what the FTC says about this scam here - http://www.business.ftc.gov/documents/alt024- ... directory-scams
- Business ownerI know this is a scam and I have just been ignoring them. My only concern is can they do anything to my credit?

- Ray replies to Reg TThey've been sending me bills from all over the world - Holland, Panama, "legitimate" addresses in the US (attorney's office), and Canada (business office - where they ask you to send the money - I had that shut down), Germany.... After a good 2 years they're still faxing and sending me letters. it all gets filed.
- Sarah B| 1 replyThe company I work for is also receiving notices from Direct Factoring EOOD. As someone who has been scammed personally, I advised the partners not to send money. It just so happens that our company did have a legit listing contract with Yellowbook which began in 2011 and expired May 2013. In April 2012, however, the fax from Yellow-Pages-America.com came through and our Marketing Coordinator filled out the form and faxed it back thinking it was for Yellowbook. Even though it is a scam, are we legally bound by the form she filled out and signed, or so we continue to ignore their correspondence?

- jm replies to Sarah Bsame thing happened to me. the contract said additiional info needed. That was the scam. they cannot request additional info if you had no past dealings with them.
