saying something about the revenue department request to contact to me and do not give me time to answer the caller.I did not know who calls me and what he want from me.

This call is coming from a possible collection agency called Alliance One. They ask for my phone number and tax number, then tell me that the Dept of Revenue had no record of my having paid tax. When I told them that I pay it quarterly, and had confirmation numbers to prove it, they said not to worry. But they continue to call me. I do not believe that they are represented by the state.

So called collection agency (Aliance One) saying my Father owes Inheritance tax that he long since paid for over 15 years ago. And they say he owe's over $1200.00 in fees to the Dept. of Rev..

I'm reporting this number and all activities to the Department of Revenue in PA. This is fraud! And yet another phone scam in order to steal money from innocent and elderly people..

Irs or any revenue of state will try to reach no one, by phone or email. However, they will  send a letter to you to be in touch then the number will be there for you agent number and refer to what matter they want to talk about it.

They just keep calling but they're not specific , what they want , they just wants me to call so they can connect me with a Live Agent, they said they are alliance One Dept of Revenue

calls me, refuses to give any information but wants me to provide information to them.  Caller ID shows as alliance water but they said they are alliance one and will not say anything about the company or what it is/does/in reference to without giving them my information.

AllianceOne is a debt collector.  They seem to have addresses in multiple states, so it has been hard to track them down.

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid. 

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

This number called my elderly mother and told her they were a collection agency for the Internal Revenue Service, They wanted her to verify personal information, claiming that she owes over 800$ from 2016 for income tax. She hasn't worked in years but pays to have her taxes filed for her every year . I told her that IRS doesn't hire collections agency to call people to collect their money- The Send our forms so you can take them to your attorney or accountant.

SCAM !!  We've been receiving calls & letters both!  Claim they are a debt collector for PA Department of Revenue Sales Tax & want me to make payment directly to them  .... really are you kidding me???    I've reported this to our local accountants & the PA Department of Revenue ... and provided copies of the letter & phone number.

This number (866 583 3417) stated that they are Alliance One (debt collector) and try to collect a sale tax outstanding balance of my business in 2017 which was never paid to the PA tax department. The amount was $750. This is absolutely a scam because I did not own any sale taxes. I checked with my accountant and there was no issue. I asked for paper work to be sent to me again but they hesitant. This is ridiculous. Apparently Alliance One is a real collector company. Check with your tax department.

Calls repeatedly. Finally left message about being a debt collector for revenue services. Funny thing is, I'm Canadian waiting immigration paperwork and have ZERO credit in the USA nevermind PA specific.

I just received a phone call from a lady claiming they are an collection agency and i owe 275$ To  the city of Philadelphia  from 2013 and they just being sent to them in 2023
