borrowed 1500 only received 1000. paying 198.00 per month and six months later I still owe 1517.00  what a rip off. my fault I should have googled them first would have saved myself a lot of money and stess. anyone looking to borrow from them don't do it.  I would never refer them to anyone.  If I had the money I would make a commercial on why not to us them. I would back it up with the proof I have, my contract and also show the payment schedule which has the intrest rate on it, show it for all to see.  again what a rip off

    Hi daisy,
i was wondering when and how long ago did you get this loan and what procedures have they done agains you.
i had borrowed 2600 over a year ago. i had paid 300 every month for over 12 months, and according to them and their stupid contract, i owed them the 2600 plus 3 more motnhs because i am behind.
i stopped answering to their emails or calls because the last time i talked to them, they promised to help me but all they did was to make sure i did a payment. please give me your feedback and see what you have done.
    i am at jrthemystery@yahoo.com
    thanks,

    Class Action vs CashCall, Inc
    This is CashCall, Inc.

CashCall, Inc has continued it's unlawful methods of collection.  The California Attorney Generals office pursued and obtained a Judgment against CashCall, Inc in the Superior Court of California in the County of Los Angeles (Case # BC420115) in 2009.  Additionally, there is a current case in Northern California against CashCall, Inc for the same violations (Case #CV 08-3174 MEJ).  This has been certified as a Class Action Lawsuit against them.  The State of West Virginia won a $15 million dollar judgement against them for illegal collection practices.

I have been a victim of CashCall's continued practices and sent certified mail to them, thus my ability to prove their violations. Yet, they continue to violate the Judgment against them, showing blatant disregard for the Court and the Attorney Generals Office.  Further sanctions and/or action needs to be taken against them.

I encourage EVERYONE who has similar problems with CashCall, Inc to file a complaint with the California Attorney Generals Office as well as the California Dept or Corporations.  Check back here periodically as I'm in the process of finding an attorney for action against them.

    List of numbers they use:

    214-453-5669--TX
    562-287-5532--CA
    843-376-5916--NC
    706-956-0336--GA
    252-389-8131--NC
    918-716-9384--OK
    678-818-0207--GA
    336-792-7637--NC
    215-933-3520--PA
    832-572-5405--TX
And this doesn't include the numerous TOLL FREE numbers they call from.

I took out this loan in 2013.  I have made a complaint to Minnesota State Attorney General after I saw Mn filed a law suite against them. I have not made a payment in 3 months nor do I intend to.  I will file a lawsuit if I am forced to.  Waiting to see where things go with Minnesota lawsuit.  I strongly encourage you to first close your bank account if you are paying by bank account debit or checks.  No where in your contract states you must pay by letting them debit your account. Closing your account gives you control how much and when you pay them.  Second I encourage you file a complaint with your State Attorney General office.  You are not alone and you are not the only one.  Get some legal advice.  If you can't afford an attorney check with legal aid in your city. If they can't help you they can refer you to some one that can and the price may be reasonable.  Do your research on the internet. Google cashcall and read 6 or more pages back and you will see all the law suits against them. West Virginia won a 13 million dollar lawsuit against them. Georgia also won a lawsuit against them.  It is quite possible they are operating without a license in your state which will play in your favor. There claim about states not having jurisdiction over them because they are on an Indian reservation  won't hold up in court.  The company is not owned by the Cheyenne River Indian reservation or do the reservation profit from the proceeds of cashcall so soverign immunity do not apply as you will see in all of the law suits.  They can't garnish your wages without a court order. A court order from and Indian court does not count unless you live on an Indian reservation.  I strongly encourage to get legal advice and close your bank account. Open a new one and don't give them your bank info. If and when you decide to make any payments please use postal money orders only.  You may use western union and money gram if you don't mind paying extra for the fees.

1/24/14 Cash call settled with the State of New York. Cash call now has to pay a big fine and pay back all the interest payments.  I a customer has paid interest equal to the principle then their account must be marked paid in full and any money over the principle must be paid back.  Soverign immunity does not apply.

Well it looks like Minnesota has won their law suit against Cash Call.  $11.5M  Cash call must cancel all debt against all MN customers, refund any monies paid, wipe it off their credit report. They can not sell the debt to a third party and if they did they must inform any third party collection that the debt is now cancelled.  Yeah for MN.  Also Yeah for me.  I have repaid 2x's the amount I borrowed and they say I still owed 3x's more than I borrowed.  The math just don't add up but now it don't have to because now it's like it never even happened:)
