repeat caller, no message, suspect telemarketing, suspect origin from Canada.

suspect telemarketer do not answer

They call everyday since september. I answered once, a message said to keep the line because this is an important call. Very annoying because it goes to my voice mail, everyday. But no message though.

It looks like it's a debt recovery agency. I answered the call and a woman asked for Mrs. 'Something'. About the debts. Most likely, the person (who doest't want to pay) gave them a fake phone number (mine).

I looked up this number on other websites and this is the feedback i was able to get:

"They called me today, and I did answer. It is one of these companies offering "credit card protection services". They talk forever. I told them I was not interested, but they will continue talking. Basically, you just have to hang up on them after telling them you are not interested."

"I went to the website www.ictgroup.com and got their telephone number which is 800-201-1085 and called it. Option 4 is to be put on the "do not call list". I hope it works."

I Got a phone call from them but it was an answer machine telling me that i have to call back.. it is an important call.. when i called back.. wasn't possible to talk to somebody they keep me hold on the line... when i write the phone number on Google, it goes to ICT group...WTF i that?!?

they call every day and they speak in french, they ask for my name, I don't know where did they get my name from, beacuse is my husbands name at the phone book.

Left a message today on my answering machine in french asking to phone back to this number 1-866-591-5174.

I'm not sure of the name of the company. I understood something like "I Call Canada".

I erased the message right away because it looked like a telemarking agency and the woman hesitated before saying my name.

Ca fait 2 fois que je recoit des appelle de ce numéro mais il demande a parlé a mon conjoint qui n est pas la ......et ce matin je leur ai demandé c était koi comme compagnie et ils m`ont répondu Hydro-québec je ne comprend rien a tout ca .....

They call everyday,several times a day , left a message it's lqor canada , phone back , it's an important call... it lasts few months . very annoying .

Ils me harcelent plusieurs fois par jour et ce depuis des semaines, je ne réponds jamais. Hier, sur le message (ils en laissent rarement), la fille a dit que c'était pour les impots mais vu que ça fait des semaines qu'ils m'appellent et que c'est la première fois qu'ils mentionnent une telle chose (je ne dois PAS d'argent aux impôts), je doute de la véracité d'une telle info. Fort déplaisant, je n'ose plus répondre au téléphone à cause d'eux!

Appelle et j,ignore ce qu'ils veulent sauf que je dois rappeler mais quand je rappelle impossible de parler à quelqu'un toujours le même message....

je confirme j'ai extactement la même situation et je leur ai dit de changer mon numéro à 2 reprises.

Je vais les dénoncer aux authorités, c'est clairement de la fraude.

they called me, woman said they were based in mississauga, said it was some computer company, had my hydro quebec information. said that I had to pay my debt to them.. stange. called me in french..

Law firms actually hire these guys (above) to make calls for them and find leads. These call centers think they are above the law and need to be stopped.  Give a call and thank them for the nice work.

1st call....to my friends cell phone...????......they asked for me.....my buddy said wrong # and gave them my home phone....they called left an incoherent message in broken english......called back....same thing.......

so i went off....finally got some girl on the phone and peppered her with questions.....who are you what company why are you calling me friends.....why are you calling me........while she was trying to come up with answers.....told her i didnt have time and i actually work for my $$$$$..........

they called again this afternoon.......so i call again.....get some guy.....english was horrible....and he wasnt french.....i know this because i have lived in montreal all my life........asked him all the same questions....to which he replied that this stuff was confidential.....HA!

so i say transfer me to your supervisor....suprise suprise....he can't.....i have to call another #....514-493-7961.....and ask for HELENE BOUCHER.........so i call......and not so nicely demand to know who the hell these people are and why they are harrasing my friends and me....( by this time they've called my buddy twice....and my home multiple times.)
after some yelling at her........she finally tells me its for an overdue bill for Hydro-Quebec....( who by the way come after you themselves )....and not only that.....a bill for the period when didnt even live there........told her if i did owe hydro anything....hydro quebec would get it......and that it would be a cold day in hell before i paid her of her scam company anything.........so she says well you still need to confirm with her that i paid them.....to which i reply.......you can suck my b@lls.....you f'n c%nt.......

i know i dont owe hydro anything.....i live in the same building and they have my forwarding address....

I had them call me for a bill I was supposed to pay Hydro-Québec after moving to another province.  Turns out the bill was never sent to the new address I had provided Hydro-Québec with.  I also spoke to Hydro-Québec and they confirmed having problems with the last payment process.  
All in all, it took 10 minutes to rectify the problem and I probably won't be bothered again.
So, my advice is to call them back and see what the deal is... small things like that can really tarnish your credit and if they don't have the right number better to let them know right away. My 2cents

Je me fais appeler à tous les jours, à des heures différente. La première fois, ils m'ont laisser un message, j'ai rappeler et la dame me demande si j'ai habité sur une rue quelconque. Je lui répond que non, j'ai jamais habité la. Vous vous tromper de personne. Il mont laisser tranquile 2 semaines et c'est reparti de plus belle. Chaque jours, j'ai un appel d'eux et un message sur mon répondeur qui dit rien du tout. c'est vraiment tannant!
