it is a company clled skyklink. they also call under 1-866-247-5559. they are calling me at work.

dave called from Skylink looking for my husband and asked that he call back 1-866-592-3412. said it was about a file and asked if he still work at his current job... named his place of employment and everything....

got a call for Skylink regarding an importan business matter with our office. is an automated caller.

they called my house harassing my baby sister and said she wasnt fit to be a babysitter.  I called back from my school and they started to freak out on me and call me disgusting and so on.  Not a nice way to treat a single mother of 2 whose in school for nursing to better her life and her kids. They called my old job and my job said if they didnt stop calling they would press harassment charges for interupting a place of business.  They are relentless and are rude and will tell everyone your information if they can

I get messages from a woman named Mary twice a month. She claims to be from a law firm and tells me she needs a call back from me by  end of day, or she'll have to start legal proceedings against me.

I just got a call from this number from a Dave Stam/Stan, saying I needed to call immediately regarding an "urgent business matter." I'm a student and have no business matters. It sounds really fishy. My cell phone number is only about a year old, so I was hoping it didn't show up on any of these shady company lists...argh!

Same as "Bro", I got a call from Mary Giles, she is so rude and uncivilized the way she talks. She tried to harass my wife at home, and when my wife mistakenly gave her my work number, she started harassing me. She gave me deadline for 3 days, otherwise she will start legal proceedings against me. After I threat her back, she was pissed off more and started swearing. And threat me back to contact my payrolls. I dont really know who these guys are and how to deal with them. they are awful !!!

Mary Giles kept leaving messages for me to call her back at 877-240-9998, which, when I did a search, turns out to be Skylink Receivables.

I noticed several complaints about her online, and was pretty irritated at her calls. I would call her back, and there would only be her voice mail there, I would leave a message telling her I had no idea who she was, and she would call back with the same (automated?) message.

I looked up Skylink and found this info:

If you call them directly, you can tell them to not call again. Which I did. And if it doesn't stop, I will be complaining to any and every authority about her and the company.

I encourage you all to do the same. And DON'T let them bust your b&lls!

Calls frequently. Yhis is a Collection company that specializes in SCAMS. What they do is get your number then make up a bill (Rodgers and Sprint seem to be their favorite), then try to collect from you on a bill you never owed. If you ask them to provide documentation, they cannot (because you never had a bill). Of course they do some ligit colections too, and will hapily provide the necessary paper work. IF YOUR BILL IS MORE THAN 2 YEARS OLD, THEY CANNOT PROCEED IN COURT, THE TIME FOR LEGAL ACTION HAS LAPSED. iF THEY ARE NOT REGISTERED IN YOUR PROVINCE, THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW BY CALLING YOU (last 4 times they got busted for this, it cost them over $30,000) so report them and get even. If their number has showen up more than # times in a 7 day period, THAT IS AGAINST THE LAW, report them, minimun $2500 fine for them. If they have the wrong number and you inform them of that, and they call again, REPORT THEM TO THE POLICE. IT IS HARRASSMENT. minimum $5000 fine to them. IF MARRY SAYS SHE IS WITH A LAW FIRM, REPORT HER, IMPERSONATING AN OFFICER OF THE COURT IS A SERIOUS LEGAL MATTER, PUNISHIBLE BY A FINE NOT EXCEEDING $100,000 - 5 YEARS IN PRISION, OR BOTH. REPORT HER !!!

I got numerous calls from Pavin wanting to return her calls and just gave me a file number with no information whatsoever about the matter and she called me at home and has now somehow got my work number!!

I have also received numerous calls, from Mary, she is extremely rude an has also called my place of business.

Called asking for someone who has left here months and months ago, accused me of being that person, was rude and almost threatening

I've received several calls from Pavin, she calls me at work claiming i owe X amount of dollars on a Credit Card i defaulted on years ago! I know get a call today from a dude named Dave? First off when i spoke to Pavin I asked how did you get my work number? She said it was on file which is pure BS because I had just started working here. I think they use FaceBook or something either way it's irritating.

These guys called me after I filed for bankruptcy, I just called them back and gave them the name of my trustee.  I felt like saying to them, "Do your homework!!!"  I did mentioned to them not to call me again or I will file a harraessment charges against them.  They use intimation to get money from you, don't give in.  Skylink buys old debts and tries to collect money when for the most part your old creditor's have already written it off.  Now you know why interest rates are so high, your creditors buy insurance against unpaid debts, so don't feel so bad if you can't pay them back, they will get their money from their insurance company that you have already paided for.

Please do a google search on these guys and you will read other comments from people like yourself and how to deal with them.  These guys are bottom feeders and leaches all rolled up into one.

If you are ever in trouble finacially like I was, please seek professional advice and do not listen to anyone but a professional regarding bankrupcty like I did.  All my friends and family who had not gone through what I went through gave me nothing but baloney, no one knows how to fix your situation like a trustee, however I should mentioned that my sister who went through bankruptcy herself did not want me to file as she wanted to see me suffer, 'Go figure?!'

These clowns sent me a letter ( I also receive at least 4 automated calls per week ) stating I owed HSBC over 10 K ( No date of supposed infraction , account # or purchased items supplied ) . Skylink said they'd be willing to settle for $ 1898 to clear my good standing and credit score !!
So..I'm clearly curious about this " deal " and I call the above number ..only to get an answering machine . I left a detailed message stating this is obviously a mistake and would like the matter resolved . I supplied Skylink with 2 telephone numbers I could be reached at . Not a single return call has been received .
If I do receive another letter , I will contacting my lawyer
