Received call with a file number to respond to.

Recording on voicemail for a family member who is not a resident (name mispronounced) of my household from Susan Hall saying its concerning urgent documents that's time sensitive and need to be sent out. She then stated that you have been officially notified.

Most likely a debt collection scam.  A phone call is not legal notification of anything.  Ignore and block these calls.

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking),  the only thing they understand.

After hours robo-greeter says "your call has been transferred to the reception group,'  No idea what that means.

They are bottom of the barell low life debt collector. I tell them to come to my house and serve these so called papers and they will meet Mr. Smith and Wesson

need to post the same thing twice

This number called they refused to give me an address so I could file a lawsuit against them. The girl kept putting me on hold and wouldn't give me any information about their company.

I started calling and hanging up and then I got calls from

Threatening that they were litigator. And the people calling were contracted I said are you aware they ate violating the fair debt collection act and he kept saying it had nothing to do with them,

They called my 89 yr old grandmother And my daughter telling them I was being charged. Jerks

Phone rang several times in a row from unknown number then left a voice mail from someone claiming they attempted to make a delivery of documents containing date of birth and social security information to the wrong address but close enough to make you think well that's why I didn't get these documents and gave this phone number to call and a reference number and claimed it was a legal action and I needed to call to find out if it was criminal or civil action and failure to do so would result in a failure to appear in court. Obviously a scam of some kind
