These people called my friends and relatives telling them that I have serious charges pending against me and that my lawyer should call them back.

I called their number back myself and found out that they are some type of collections outfit.  I will try again tomorrow and learn more.

Yes, they are hard nosed collectors.  Pushing that failing to pay back a pay-day loan is bank fraud, which it is not. In my case, they were trying to collect for someone called Holiday Group LLC.

I received these calls also and they have called relatives and friends that I don't even have phone numbers for. They state they have allegations and will be going to court. They won't give any specific information about what it is. They have an old email address and bank name that I haven't had in years.

I received a phone call from these people as well.They try to be tough,only wanting you to give up wat up ur money.They never explain what the charges was for and  one of the workers were very rude.

I have been getting random phone calls from them too!  Telling me that there are serious charges that I am involved with on behalf of my old manager at a place I used to work.  Asking if I have anyway to get a hold of her and when I said "no" he said he would contact me back. Then didnt call back.  Just now he called and asked if for the name of my old manager.  Getting tired of this!  Does anyone know how to stop this?

Not only are they hard nosed collectors, they are piss poor skip tracers who tend to call anyone with a matching name they can find on various databases and speak as if they have perfect information on the actual person and know they are speaking with the right person who is lying to them to get out of the debt.

He was not even intimidated when I identified myself as a Police Detective whose wife was being harrassed while they were supposedly looking for me.

He did eventually remove her cell number from the call list in their file.
