called and threaten a lawsuit against me in jefferson county (Louisville)  left the same message at work

This is a scam please be careful

I just received a message from 1-866-597-7275 stating that if they do not  hear from me due to Bayside cash. They are going to issued judgment in my county. If they do not hear from me within 48 hrs. Its very polite to leave such a message on a job. Plus, you do not received any documentation in the mail at all from ABS is what he stating...

Just received a call from 866-597-7275.  A message was left on my cell and office phone. stating that if I do not contact them regarding my debt with seaside loan that they would live a lawsuit.  I believe this is a scam.  I do not have a loan with such a company and have never received any documentation in the mail.

I got same message for a loan from fireside cash same number same threat

I just spoke with a woman because she keeps calling me and leaving messages.  She states that I wrote a bad check to Seaside for $1400.00.  I would never and I told her to take me to court.  She told me if that is the way I want to play she will and I will be paying $4000-$5000.  I told her to have a great day.  This company is a bunch of crap!

This was a man calling about a "legal action" against a woman I've never heard of. The caller ID said, "Service Message" and the caller ID number was 618-551-5665.

Same message and calling other people that I am associated with wanting money as well. I say bring it on.

At 4:39pm, January 29, 2013, I received a call from the office administrator at the church that my school is affiliated with asking me to call her ASAP! She then leaves me a text message telling me that a lady by the name of Deana from AFB & Assoc. called her looking for me. She wrote the number which was 866-597-7275. Upon looking this number up on the internet I found a long history of other people getting calls from AFB threating them with court action and levy's and garnishments. I felt this description of this company was most accurate; "A Collections Firm that works out of the East Coast! They use illegal tactics to collect debt by forms of abuse, intimidation, threats and even calling you day and night and your family and friends! A person claiming to be Eric Turner, calls my home, cell, and place of employment, stating that legal proceedings/lawsuit has been filed against me in the county that I live. This is a scam recognized by the Attorney Generals Office in the state where I live.

Too bad we cannot pass along this phone number 866-597-7275 to others on the internet to call, so we can crash their phone bank, where the scam is taking place.

I just listened to voicemail the person stating since I had hung up on the federal court that they are going to just issued the information to the county. He left a number 1-866-597-7275 Ext. 1143; he did not state his name etc. I am like who could this be and left such information on my work number. I do not appreciate this at all. What I can do about this?

Got the same message from 866-597-7275. They even called my daughter.

Just Got a call from them As well threating and saying things about a Lawsuit I reported it to the FTC And the

local State officals and the Also said my supervisors name and everything else Saying they would surve

papers to my work and everythings else i am not happy and I let people know that And i am for Sure not a

happy person either but have a wonderful day and they would not even State the company names either or the

amount or anything And now much more do you need to report things and nothing gets done i just dont

understand it i really dont

Got this call today, glad they didnt call my job with this stuff, It sounded like a scam they called me about a month ago, I recognized the extension. AFB Associates, partner with my county and legal dept. said his name was Donald at ext 189

I have been reciving calls from this number off and on for about 6 months now they tell me that they are going to be taking me to court for 3000 that and that they can settle for 632 saying that I owe a payday loan company I then called the county that they said that they had a judgement againist me and they say they have no record of my name. I was directed to call my local police department and report the issue. Becareful because i was almost convinced they also said that they where calling me from a law firm

This person is calling me day and night about a debt that i dont have. They have callled on my home phone and my cell phone

I started getting calls from 866-597-7275 on Feburary 17, 2013 always around noon or in the evening on my cell. The person leaving me messages, his name is Travis Michaels, he is saying in the message that he is trying to help me resolve a very sensitive issue and if I dont call back within 48 hours, that he wishes me the best for the future as it will leave his hands and be turned over to the county. He(Travis) would never say the nature of the call when leaving me the messages. I haven't returned any of his calls and today is February 25th. I believe this is a scam of some sort. I wonder if I should file some type of harrasment or can this number be blocked from my phone.

I just received a phone call on my work phone and cell phone from AFB & Associates her name is Janice Young stating there is a affidavit of service against me and to call phone number: 866-597-3056 Ext 152 to speak with her. The first number was 866-597-7275

I just received the same call.  Said name was Jill Edwards with AFB & Associates that I have a civil judgement against me and I need to call 866-597-7275 x116.  Yes, "You have been notified", I don't think that is how regular companies deal with debts from people, do you???  They do know alot of info about you, like your place of employment, but that is easy to find out especialy if payday loans sell your info to them.  I had a payday loan a couple years ago, but I paid it off and now I have companies calling saying I owe them money, WTF???
