This is the IWB Club (International Wealth Builder). Sounds like a scam when you return the call. I'm on the "national DO NOT CALL list" and they stilled called.

I was charged $29.95 from someone using this number. The IWB Club.  When I called the number I was on hold for 10+ minutes and was never connected with anyone.  I ended up cancelling that credit card and getting another one issued.

This is a club that is affiliated with the Grant University. Did yu order a CD from Grant for a trial period? If you did under their terms and conditions they give you a trial to the Ideal Wealthbuilder Club and you have to cancel that too!!! What a scam huh. I know this because I just fot off the phone with them and they did void the pending $29.95 charge in my account. Bottom line for me is I will NEVER order anything like this again!! I did cancel the membership to the Grant University within the 7 day trial period and they still charged my account $69.95!! I was able to get that charged refunded also.

I just noticed that a 29.95 charge was made to my card & found this website.  I called the number and asked for them to call me back.  Hopefully, I , too will get a refund (wish me luck) & yes, I did order the US Grant CD & cancelled the subscription w/in the 7 days. Had no idea anything else had been put onto my card!

I too just noticed these charges on my card.  They went back all the way to september 2008.  I called the company and they immediately credited back the last charge of $29.95 and said they would send me a "refund request" form via email to get the rest of my money back.  She advised me that they would refund every penny which totaled $431.50.  My advice to anyone with these charges.....call them.

I too have called several times to cancel this membership that I
actually never subscribed to. Was on hold for over 15 minutes one time and 20+ minutes another time.  No one has ever picked up the call--I just continued to hear a recording. I think I will be doing the same thing as you.  Just cancelling my card and getting a new one issued! What a rip-off.  Someone needs to shut this company down. Thanks

Not sure why others have been able to reach them, but I have been unsuccessful several times also.  Funny, in the automated recording it says to press one to leave a message. That doesn't even work---I pressed number "one" several times but the recording keeps going nonstop just repeating the same information. Anyone have any other suggestions?

This company is partnered with many of the online product websites; including a Grant information CD, supplement pills, diet and exercise products, loan-help websites and the list goes on. Basically anything you hoped would help...hurt. They are all interconnected. One company offers a product with a poorly advertised *free* trial that you have to cancel, along with information that you may be signed up for partner company *free trials* that you also have to cancel.  WATCH YOUR BANK STATEMENT OR CREDIT CARDS CAREFULLY! The bad news is you will likely receive one or two other charges, generally in the realm of 69.95, 39.95, or 29.95. AND if you do not cancel these so called memberships, they will continue to charge this fee monthly.. (for most of these companies that is)  The good news is, this company (8666071070) whatever it was, refunds your money, and if you got scammed into this through the grant CD (8882102544), they will refund your money as well, but they are real [***] (pardon) and you have to threaten a bit to get much progress.  If you have any trouble, explain that you spoke with a family attorney and contacted the better businees bureau.  There is also an FBI website that you can complain to, but the threat was sufficient enough for me in both cases. Expect phone calls from a few companies as well if you gave a phone number out. In regards to this, it has been better for me personally to answer the calls in order to cancel any memberships and further phone calls.  Im sorry if that backfires in anyway, but I just want to help as much as possible. These companies ought to be sued to death but they get by on technicalities. Good luck!! Its a pisser but its fixable.
