would not give details; when asked what is northstar?..they replied "a business"

I called them back and asked what type of buisness they were. The said they were a location service. I went to google them with the keywords, northstar, location service, and it came up that they were a collection agency.

The computer at this number kept calling me over a period of several weeks in September and October.  It asked if I were a "Moyer" - I dialed the # to indicate "no."  It kept calling today, I got a message to call "Josh Moyer" at the northstar number.  Whoever answered said he was a "Moyer" and demanded to speak to other "Moyers" -- I told him he had the wrong number.  He demanded to speak to them and demanded to know if I were a relative or if I were a Moyer.  I said I did not know any MOyers and was not related to any and asked "Who the hell are you?"  He said "all you had to do was tell me I had the wrong number.  Good day." and he hung up.

I never called them back as I googled the number up first and found your site and the other complaints.

I keep getting calls looking for my son.  I tell them he doesn't live here and relayed the info to my son, he looked them up as well and never heard of them.
I got another call today and she said she was michelle and wouldn't give any more info except that it was a business matter.

I just now looked them up in google and found this and i will set my privacy director to not accept there calls again.

Two messages, both mispronouncing my last name; a dead giveaway. He stated I had urgent business at his office; don't know who these people are and never did business with them. Thanks for the warnings!

Caller Tamika Walker at ext# 534 calls and leaves messages to call back. The people they ask for do not reside at this address.

keep calling my cell number - never leave a message.  I called from my work number and the woman answered "Northstar."  I hung up and googled Northstar and while doing so they called me back at my work number which i thought was blocked from caller id.  When i asked her where she was calling from all she said was New York...very bizarre.

A message left regarding an important business matter. I worked in collections that is an obvious indication if you ever get a message like that.

This number is from a very rude collection agency with reps twice as obnoxious and rude who called me on my cell#. They say they are from new york and the call is very important. They called looking for someone I do not know and stated the person put me down as a contact person. I told them that I doubted that very seriously. When I coudn't/wouldn't give them info they wanted they got more rude and hung up the phone on me. I called them back and told them I was reporting them to the FCC. If you get one of their calls IT WOULD BE WISE to tell them the same thing.

Please call this number back as soon as possible,left a name and name of company,NorthStar Locations,,but no state.

Got a voicemail on my home phone today from this number.. 3 minutes of nothing but background noise (could hear other people talking in the background) but nothing that could be understood.

Keep calling repeatedly under different 866#'s-calls are day and night. They are a collection agency based in Cheektowaga NY. Alternate # is coming up 866-610-2729, 2727, 2726 etc.

They leave recorded messages and ID themselves as a "location" service. All this means is they bought your past debt and they are attempting collections. It also appears they do not listen when anyone tells them they have the wrong #, from all the postings as above.

Report their abusive behavior-it appears they shift phone #'s also.

Rude collection agency, called reoeatedly on my work phone even when requested not to.

They are in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ore FDCPA. Lodge all complaints with the Federal Trade Commission. They called one of my friend's mother and I can't even call that number on my own. I would NEVER give it out to anyone.

Repeated calls on cell phone, either mechanical, or just background noise. This time was a Mrs. Ferguson who requests that either I, or my attorney call by hte ends of business today.

Call stating they were locating service looking to collect a debt. Call back and no answer.

i got a call frm ths company 1st jamie bradfield called me i have his voice mail.. thn i called back i knw its a debit.. but the funny thing is tht i have never had a debit collector ever ever hang up on me.. lol.. all i said was that with the way everything is going with money these days and business closing.. he stated he was sick of people stating abt the closing of businesses and money issues and thn hung up..lol
