received a call from 866-613-2088. No voice mail was left.

Man called my friends house and they guy said they were looking for said person, and wouldnt give him any info.

Another friend called back and they said it was me, they procceeded to give him my last four of social. my birthdate and last address.

they identified themselves as Capitol One Visa collections

He's name is Manuel. And is trying to get my elderly parents to pay a collection of 219.00

Got a call from this number yesterday, 4/15/08, said they were calling for Dana Chavez, told him I didn't know her.  Called back this AM and got me out of bed (I am a heart patient).  Told him again, he said "pardon the call ma'am", just like yesterday.  I called the number and got a David Myer, Northland Group, POBox 390846, Adian?, Minn  55439.  He said my number was off now.  I had this same thing happen before.  You can send them a certified letter to quit calling, notify the Better Business Bureau, your state's Attorney General, and sue them for $1,000 per day each day they call.  If they call again I will do so.  We all should do this!!  It can be done in Small Claims, keep good records!

I received 4 miss called from this number each day from April 29 till now.

They called my place of work and asked for me.  She identified herself as Danielle and said it was a personal call. My supervisor told them no personal calls at work and she hung up, no message.  We did *69 to get number and called her back, she answered "Danielle".  No business name, no greeting, just her name.  We hung up.  She called us right back and was snippy, asking my supervisor why she called, etc.  Was it in my supervisor's job description to snoop.  My supervisor laughed and hung up on her.

Called at 8:20 am.  Did not answer

Collection agency

Man calls several times.  finally I talk to him.  He said my son owed money and had arranged with me to pay his debt.  that never happened.  He calls my son in the Marine corps several times a day.  He says he owes money on a credit card he does not have

Crazy dude. He was angry said he was recording my call. Was much nicer when I said I was recording the call. He called on my cell phone. Asking for someone I never heard of, and would not listen to me.

Man called 12/31/2008 said he was collecting for capital one I told him I could not pay at this time and he started demanding payment so I hung up.  He called back and demanded I tell him my disability income and started to down play me because I could not afford to pay and was yelling. I am turning this company in.

called on 2/3/07 they are looking for some deadbeat loser named Andrew Boyer, I have received like 30 calls looking for this [***] Boyer, I tell them over and over again I'M NOT ANDREW BOYER! told them to take me off there list, they said ok, so hopefully it will happen.

Got a call from 8666132088. First thing I don't answer 866 numbers. I checked it and found out it was from Capital One. Funny thing is I'm paying off a card right now thru a lawyer firm. If I get called again I'm going have the same firm sue Capital One. Maybe I'll get some of my money back!!!!!!!

I have been getting these on my cell phone number.  Which I give to no one!  The guy asked for me but would not say who he was unless I told him If I was available.  Seriously argued with me back and forth  who is this?  is she available.  Well who is this?  Well is she available.  Like a child!  How do you turn someone like that in?  They need a job at a zoo!

I'm not the person they're trying to find, I have the phone number now, they refuse to stop calling unless I answer a bunch of questions! There should be a law and penalties.  I can't afford a lawyer to file harrassment charges against them unfortunately!!

I kept getting calls this morning from a Walmart Collection Agency (so they said) who were trying to get my account number to my Walmart credit card.  I hve gotten three of them, and they seemed to stop until now, at 10:30 this 866-613-2088 number is trying to call me.  They don't answer the phone, and I assume it is related to the first number who called incessantly early this morning.  I would like to sue every single one of these companies because I am up to date on every single credit card, and have made sure it stays that way.  In fact, I pay way over the required limit, and my balances are not high.  So if anyone knows how to get these people to stop harrassing us hard, law-abiding people (which these callers definitely are not) I would appreciate any suggestions anyone may have.

we keep getting calls for some deadbeat named Marla B....  When this jerk called me again today, I told them we don't know that person, never heard of that persaon and had told them muliple times to stop call us.  The guy was condensending saying things like, calm down now.  I told him I would call the police next time they called.  And I told him to get his facts straight.  He tried to say that this was the number that this deadbeat gave them.  That's a lie since we have a highly unusual name.  Same first initial as my husband so these jerks just troll the phone book for similar names...I will call the police and file a cliam against them next time.

They call everyday 3 or 4 times and nobody there when I pick it up. I don't call back.  Must be some idiot looking for someone else.

So I literally just got a call from this number, a number that only my family and boyfriend has, which is also a prepaid cell, and I am just confused as to why they called me. I was angry when they didn't leave a message and now I am even more pissed after reading everyone else's issues. How did a telemarketer and/or a collection agency get my number, which once again is PREPAID??????????//

Just got a call from them about 3 minutes ago they didn't even stay on the line when i answered, they just hung up.
