who is this company? i got a letter with this # for a national credit works in cheetowaga, ny.....i was paying this account to giove law office. what is going on?

giove is a crock...you will pay and pay and pay and never get it paid off...believe me...been there done that.

This rude persistent man who refers to myself by my name, however he got that, blames me constantly for the owner of the company not calling him back. Obviously, these folks are just soliciting, he stated that yesterday "was our final call" and that legal proceedings would be brought onto our company. Telling that to whoever answers the phone seems and is very unprofessional to me. This is a costume line he calls in, and if he was really any association of our company, he would have different contact for the owners. Good tip for all being bothered,... offer owners email, they won't take it bc them there is electronic proof of their crooked activities. Says his name is Robert.

I received a call from this number on my vm stating to call back or have legal represetation call back saying a claim had been attached to my social security number.  The person calling was a Miss Favors...after reading the other related notes, I won't be returning the call.  Thanks

had call from rude man from  866 number...asking for our son in law by name saying "we had to call back or he'd take it to legal  etc etc" gave extension 110 ...you all saying this is a scam??

I was concerned about this call, especially after reading this.  I went against this and paid off my debt.  I paid by money gram and already have a receipt saying that this debt is paid off and will be updated on my credit report.  Should I be considered about this not being paid?

They are called Nationl Credit Works, Inc. Debt collectors of purchased accounts. The owner is Greg G. Emminger, 113 Bathurst Drive, Tonawanda, NY 14150, Erie County, NY. Be careful about sending them any money, he does not have any docs to back up his claims, nor is he licensed or bonded anywhere.

This women(Lauren Rozzetti) said I have been red flagged by a civil complaint against me.  And this is her final attempt to get a hold of me.  If I do not respond then the matter will be chosen for me?   la

yeah, telling me the same thing. . . never have received anything in the mail but once I do then my lawyer will take over then . . .

What do I do-  I got the same call -Please help.  Will clear up matter I am very worried about sending these people money.  My account was bought by an attorney and now its with these guys- National Creditworks?

Got a call from these people.  The call was not even at my house, but at my parents house.  I have not lived there for years and they are calling that number?  I got a call more than 3 months ago from them at my parents house too.  I had them take my address and send me things in the mail.  I never recieved anything.
Should i be alarmed?

I'm getting threatening calls from these folks too.  They're calling like 4 and 5 times a day and leaving really cryptic messages about an "important matter" that I must clear up with them.

Recieved a call from Giovi Law office on the number 866-618-5732... 20 minutes later recieved a call from National Credit Works 866-618-5731 ??? they have been suing me now for about 6 months. Prior to this had a call from Vincent Cignarelli Law office they were suing me for a year and NOTHING!!! they keep moving around changing their names......I fell in the first time gave them money to where i had NO BALANCE!!!! i have all receipts and this debt never goes away. DO NOT ANSWER .. DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY.... THEY ARE ALL FRAUDS!!!!!!

don't fall for their trap.  They have been telling me since before christmas that I had 24 hours to call them before it goes to their legal deparment. (have told me this about 5 times) I think they purchased this "so called" debt from another collection agency that went bankrupt.  I keep waiting for them to send me something in the mail but so far nothing.  I have a lawyer standing by in case they decide to pursue this further. . .

OH, and if they are associated with that Giovi law office. . .they are definately a scam!!

This is a legitimate company.  There are people that want to pay there bills and then there are those who don’t.  I am a bill collector in the WNY area and know this company.  They are not GIOVIE.  Nor are they associated with them.  If you look up the articles of incorporation you will find that they are no way connected.  
Everyone understands that the economy is rough, but you know that your bills are due, so you pay them.  Yes there are people everyday that get sued by collection attorneys and the like.  Yes a company can sue you, however it is in your best interest to try and work something out and get the bill taken care of.  
If you decide to “Hide” from your creditors, they have the legal right to skip trace you.  That includes calling family members, neighbors, and the like to try to get location information. When you don’t pay your bills it affects more than just you.

Do not send them anything until they send you something in writing. I have been waiting to be served with a civil complaint. I have my answer to their complaint waiting.

It is in your best interest to settle with a company that owns the debt. National Credit has yet to send anything. They are no better than telemarketers. Every collection agency that owns or is hired to collect a debt can send you something bearing you account number & what they claim you owe. I have received notices from three different collection agencies on the same debt. I would be more willing to pay the ones that send me something in writing before dealing with telephone loan sharks. Until they get their act together, they should not receive one dime from anyone. And more than likely, you probably work for them & heard about this web page. I hope you enjoy calling people with no results.

AMEN. I am waiting also for something in the mail.  I really can't get my lawyer working on this until they send something. . .maybe today?  I'll be damned if I am going to speak to someone that I don't know in NY and give them my banking numbers. . . send it by mail.

I got the same threatening and harrassing phone calls from this [***]. Most of her message is garbled, she told me the account was "reckslide"? What the hell is that? Oh, I guess if she could speak English instead of ghetto ebonics she meant "redflagged".

I was also told that"something" was going to be done on Monday at 2 pm.

Not a sign of a true professional. They are not licensed, bonded, or even following the laws of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I have reported their tactics to my state attorney generals office.

I ahve asked them to contact me via certified mail, which they have not done; and I have informed them that they must stop the harrassing and threatening phone calls.
