Did not answer this call to my number which is a restricted number - suspect it is a bottom feeder debt collection company attempting to get information - should I answer they would be referred to 717-338-2533 (the FCC director' office) - Normally I do not post; but, these unethical p$%^&s add new numbers on a regular basis to get around phone number blockers used to prevent harrasement calls. I do not answer or return calls from numbers or names I do not recognize. If it is impotant to contact me, I can be reached on my private cell or via email or even snail mail. My phone is for my use.  Also, my phone ringer is turned off when I choose not to take land line calls.

So why are you telling us all about your contact restrictions? You need to notify your collection agency, in writing and sent via USPS Certified with return card, if you expect your demands to stick. If this agency thinks you owe something, be sure to respond on real paper to its federally required dunning letter with a dispute and validation request, adding that you either restrict or revoke consent to call again. Please share a business name with the readers here when you obtain one.

I believe this number to be just violating your privacy for their own agenda.  I would not answere calls from this number and if calls repeat, I would block this number.

Name for caller ID is TOLL FREE CALL - THis is the same as someone hiding their identity when making a call.  I do not answer this type of call.

It's "Time Warner Cable's promotion department"...

Yup, it's effin time Warner Cable.  I cancelled them over 2 years ago and they are robo dialling me every 12 minutes.  Nice. Way to ignore my do not call number, dicks.

"Redact" was apparently an unreliable informant. Your established business relationship with TWC expired eighteen months after your final payment. Unless you made an unlikely inquiry since then, TWC should not be calling and you could consider a TCPA suit.
