i forgot to mention yesterday when i wrote my complaint "really irritated" that after the call with the number showing they call right back with the number blocked so that unavailable shows up on my caller id.. so far since yesterday they have called my phone over 30 times.. im really getting tired of having to ignore my phone. I want to fin out who this is and get them stopped.

I dont know how to post, so I thought I would reply,  the  number is to a Company called ARC (america reading choice) , and is part of a company called national service corp.  wich I can find no information about either company online but they are based out of Atlanta GA.  I dont know if this information will help in any way just thought I would share what I found.

I went to radiogasdeals.com to sign up for the 2.49 a gal. gas.  DONT DO IT!  You have to work your way through hundreds of pages of "free surveys" then have to sign up for 2 siver deals, 2 gold deals, and 3 platinum deals.  All a scam!  I aborted the mission after about 45 minutes or skip this page, and no to everything.  Then within 5 minutes I started getting calls.  And they wont stop!

Live and learn, wish I could get an address on these suckers.

Just called this one back.  Talked for while, they said it was a $1000 gift card for free.  I would just have to pay shipping and handling on the merchandise.  Said it was from Visa or MasterCard.  Then asked my age, and that I was going to recieve 3 magazines from them.  I told her I did not want the magazines, she hung up the phone.

She identified herself as working for ARC, I think it stands for "A Real Crime".

they hang up when u answer the phone. i am getting sick of it. TAKE ME OF YOUR CALLING LIST !!!

They call at least 3-5 times a day and they dont say a damn word.Its very annoying.

hey, i had this same problem right after i signed up on Fastweb.com. after i took all my numbers off of my profile the calls stopped. i tried it on another phone and the same thing happened. so just remove your number from any web sites that let your profile be seen by others.

They called and said that i was a preferred Visa/Mastercard customer and that I would be receiving a free 1000 dollar shopping spree online, and 3 magazines of my choice for one 3.99. They then asked for my credit card information, I thought that THAT was a little sketchy so I asked why he wanted to know that. He said it was procedure or some b.s. like that. I kinda asked him to hold on for a second and then I hung up on him.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!

I'm also very bothered because they know my name AND my address. Is someone going to kill me?!?!?!/1

I am about to march up to whatever company is calling and HURT someone.  This number has called me 10 times today and is really annoying me.  866-620-9504 will be hearing from an attorney.

they have called me about 20-30 times today, all the same things have happened as listed above, iam going to call my hone company and see if they will block them.

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone. I have had 3 today and it is only 1 p.m.  WHen I answer they hang up and when I try to call back I only get a voicemail system asking for a mailbox number.

They called me about 5 times today. I filed a complaint with the FCC

yess! some girl called me and told me i won 1000 gift certificate to spend online without having to pay for anything. however, i couldnt understan d the name of the company and when i asked her to repeat it a noise cut into the line, she also said they were based in atlanta. However, when she asked my age and realized i was 17, she said i was ineligible and got off the phone with me. I think its a scam personally, but i mean, give out whatever information you want.

I have received a call from this phone number 6 times in the past week. Because it's an 1-866--- number, I thought it was a telemarketer. No voice messages have been left. Today, however, I answered the phone. Initially there was no noise, but after being on the line for a few seconds, a very busy background noise came in with a voice. The first call was a female who knew my name, and kept asking for a response. The second call was a male, who just kept saying, "Hello? Hello? Helloooo?" When I called the number back - I got an automated mail box asking for my voicebox number. I called back five seconds later and a woman answered and asked how she could help me. I told her I wanted to stop receiving calls from the number immediately. She asked - quite rudely - if I no longer wanted to participate in the $1000 award spree. No thanks.

this is bull!!! I keep getting calls from these foolios too!!! what the hell is the point if their not going to say anything!?!

ive gotten i dotn know how many calls from this number. same thing u answer the and theres no one there. BS. i called them just now. its a SCAM number. they say there some gift place but when a friend called the same numbedr they gave her another company name. either way we both told them to put us on the DO NOT CALL LIST. well see

i just got eight calls fom this number. and its annoying me.

i either get a call from this number or a call from "unavailable" right after.
