I got a call from 866-634-9002 saying it was important to call this number.  I called and they asked me if I was given a ref#.  I said no.  They asked what phone number they called and they could look it up that way.  I was stupid enought to give them my number.  Then the guy said still nothing comes up but he could try it another way.  If I gave him my social security number he could look it up that way.  I said, "You're not serious!"  And he realised he wasn't going to get it and rapidly said well that's the only way we can look it up but have a nice day and hung up.

I received a message on my cell asking me to call this number with a similar sequence of events as was reported by someone else on 09March. I foolishly called back after the line went dead.  They didn't get much information from me but they were fishing as the line went dead twice with as little information as my name, the number they called and the state I was calling from.  They play dumb telling you they can't tell you why they called and can't remove you number from their list unless you can give them more information.  They read off a few names in reference to the cell number which of course were not me.  They may pass you off to a "supervisor" if you complain like I did.  They they kill the line the minute they get any confirmation of tidbit of info from you.  Duped and concerned.

I recieved a call from this number as well. The business name is Capital Management Services. I called back and pretty much got the same response that you did.

I just got a recorded call at work for me to call this number back.  I checked the internet first and I'm glad I did.  I have a dedicated work number and I recently gave it to my bank - Chase - so they could call me about identity theft.  I'm guessing that's how these people got my number.

1-866-634-9002 X 5414 was left on my mothers answering machine. The caller ID that came up was CAPITAL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT. From what the website I found states that they are a collections ageny. The caller - I forgot to write down his name - left a message saying to return the call. My mother is 87 - she does not owe anyone anything. The following phone number has also been calling and going into a "loop" that states to please hold the line and someone will be right with you - that number is 800-957-8394.  When I just checked that also, that is also tied to Capital Business Management!!!!!!! My mother is on the Federal Do Not call list also. The second phone number - there were no less than 10 calls from that number within a 24 hour period. !!!!! Someone needs to stop them !!!!!!!!!

They keep calling and leaving voice mails (cause I have them on my block list) and they keep calling me by different names, for example: Mary, Nicole, Ashely, etc.. and DIFFERENT people keeps leaving voicemails and says that I should call back and they leave their extension number w/ me.. like I'm going to call back.. but thank goodness I have a block list on my phone hhaa.. I wonder how they even get our number!?!

How did you get these people to stop calling.  I came home from being out of town for a week and they called everyday and left a message each time.

I have been battling with these people for a couple of months.  They claim I owe a debt from 1987!!!  In the amount of $150ish dollars.  I told them to send me proof of the debt and of course I have yet to receive it.  I have told them numerous times to not call my place of business, yet still it continues. Today I just got a recorded message to call them at 866-634-9002 - no live person. Who / what agency can I file a complaint with?  This is embarrassing, I pay my bills!

My story is the same. They call me Rachel and Jim and Mary, what exactly do these fools want?

I just got a voicemail at work from them. They left a message even though the name they left was not my name at all...I even say my name on my away message. The name is similar to my name but there is no mistaking it is not my name.  I don't owe anything and after reading the above I am not responding!!!

Do not call them back.  They are simply phishing for information.

Don't be fooled. They are scam artists. Rotate phone numbers when you don't call them and try again
under another number and name. Good luck......We caught on to them and glad we did.

Buy a Panasonic phone that has call blocker or google for a phone that does....I found a phone that blocks the number you want-- What is cool is it tells the number you blocked that it's been disconnected and is no longer in service.  I finally have PEACE!!

Call your attorney, he or she will be able to stop it.

They call several times a day, and leave a message to call, debt collector, Indo not call back, I owe no money, it is annoying to say the least
