Caller called my grandmother in Hawaii; who I used to list as my emergency contact, stating that she had a case against me concerning a bad check.  The unusual thing about this call is that I haven't listed my grandmother as a point of any contact for 4 years and haven't had a checking account for the same amount of years.  No, they haven't been calling for 4 years trying to look for me because my grandmother would call me immediately for important phone calls so it's not like they've been trying to locate me for such a long time.

My 16 year old son went to work and had a message to call this number stating it was a legal issue. Leaving a name of Melannie Stewart. They said they tried to call the home number but no such number was on our caller ID. I called the number and no one ever answered the number. He just opened a bank account so I am sure it is a scam somewhere...BEWARE!!!!

Received call from a Chris Garcia stating he had a letter to service me with for a bad checks... gave me this number to call with a case #... when I asked who was it from he hung up

I this number calls you contact me ASAP. They have violated your rights under the FDCPA. Someone forwarded me a message they left on their voicemail and it is illegal for them to use the word "case number" or indicate you are being sued. Again contact me ASAP my email is

The keep calling numbers leaving the same messages. How do I go about stopping this action.
