    Boguds callers
I receved a call asking if I lived at my premesis. I asked the caller who he was, he replied his name was Daniel and he was working for Bell (that is a phone company in Canada) I asked him to remove my name from his telemarketing list immediately. He said he would. I doubt that he will remove my number from their list. It would be nice if the government would step in banning this telemarketers.

I got a call from this number twice today while I was on the phone but it was prefixed with the country code for France.  No idea who it was so I didn't bother switching over to see who it was.

Caller ID had the name as 8666363117 as well as the number being the obvious. Soon as I picked up, I started yelling at the [***] on the other end, insulting his origins only to have him say "hey no need for that" with a very thick accent.

They called me earlier in the day with an "unknown caller" and "long distance" being in where the number should be. (My phone is a cordless VTech DECT 6.0) That time, he called himself "Jacob". Right, I'm sure there's many [***] in India with the name "Jacob".

And if it were Bell calling you, it would identify as Bell on the caller ID, unless it's an actual field tech. Sometimes they don't display their names on the caller ID. At least that's the story I got from the guy that moved my service when I moved into my new place.

Just got three calls in 15 minutes - having seen this page I ignored them the first two times.  They're from "Bell" right.  So when I answered the third time, asking them if they were selling something, and if so I wasn't interested AND I told a colleague as much last week, I realized I was talking to dead air.  Nice.

I tried calling back - it rang a few times and went to a fast busy signal.

    Irritating folks!

Just got a call from this number. I let him talk fdor a bit, but as soon as he said he was calling from Bell..I asked him to prove it. He stated my address..wrongly..i asked him to repeat it..again wrong,,,it's a very simple to pronounce name. I asked him what my Apt# was.. he stated that he doesn't have it only the street address...soo, i put HIM on the spot by telling him if he was really from bell, he would KNOW my Apt #, along with the info @ whether or not my Internet, TV, and phone is thru Bell.  One of em isn't. I then yelled that I was onto the Scam, had caller ID, and worked for the R.C.M.P (Canadian Police Force).. He was the one the hung up... now, i know most p[eople wouldn't go this far... but if more people would question these guys instead of taking at face value that someone works for Bell jusr cuz they say they do...well...may make some of stop at least.

And, for the person who was wondering how they got ur number? Any Listed Phone can be searched on google. or any other search engine. This is how they get ur name and address... but if ur lucky, and live in an Apartment complex, u can catch them.. All Services (i;E; Bell, Hydro, etc) will have your FULL address..phone books don't... and anyone who calls claiming to be a representative of any of these services will know your full address.
