I received a message in my Vocal box;

saying my wrong first name, and my real last name, to ''please call back as soon as possible, Mr. Lambert at 1-866-637-7766 and that if, he as the wrong number, to let him know that, by calling back''.

I got calls from 866-637-7766
A collection agency IQOR Canada and one way to find there target
is to call everybody of the same name and asked if their birth date
is the birh date of their target.
They called me many times until i called them back and she asked if my birth date was June-09-1962 that was not mine. Then calls stopped.....

he call me too at family home but i dont live there so maman tell him she dont know where are him lolll i dont scare.

Just be smart and pay your bills.

someone called to my last adress, How do they find the phone number of the new tenant???

I feel this is an intrusion in private life. The new tennant at my previous address should not be disturbed in their private life, at THEIR phone number.

How can I complain?

Got the call,they left a message,asked to call Patrick, no details,based of postings will ignore.

So did I! Patrick asked to be called back before 4 pm and he said he didn't know if he had the right Karine M. because they were so many in my living town, which I know it's not the case. Tonight I've tryied to call back and was answered by a "hello" and they told me to call back in 5 to 10 minutes. I ask the guy where was I calling and he said it was confidential. I told the guy and then a lady that it didn't smell good... They hang up.

I always pay my bills on time but they called me looking for another guy who got the same name. 411 is not a great source when you work in serious business ... They even told me the birth date of the other guy, wich is personal information in my opinion.

This guy just called me saying he is "Mr. Duclot" and left a message to call him back at this number also before 8-9 pm today. (1.866.637.7766)

Can't find anything on that number and 411 says it does not exist...

same [***] called me, i first called him back and spoke to a worst [***] who litteraly started to yell at me and suddenly Duclot was back and picked up the line and while tryin to fix an arrengment he [***] got pissed off and never gave me a chance to ask a question and he hung up on me. And does he want more than what im supposed to pay lol.

IQOR Canada est une agence de recouvrement. Malheureusement l'agence recherche une personne du même nom que vous (nom ou prénom) et elle a  dû trouver votre numéro dans l'annulaire. Dans mon cas Mr.Duclot a laissé trois messages pour le rappeler...un par semaine. J'ai finalement rappelé. Il m'a fait part d'une adresse et date de naissance pour savoir si c'étaient les miennes. J'ai validé dans la négative car c'était ce n'était pas moi. Le préposé m'a dit qu'il retirerait mon no. de tél. de leur liste...on va voir.

Note:  ne donnez pas d'info personnelle (adresse, date de naissance, no. ass social, etc). Laissez le préposé donner l'info et valider simplement par oui ou non. Je présume que vous n'êtes pas obligé de répondre non plus, mais s'il vous n'êtes pas la bonne personne de toute façon, vous n'avez rien à perdre à invalider l'info...pour qu'il raye votre numéro de leur liste.

Normally people do pay their bills but people can lose everything all at once as I did. from riches to rags so be careful what you say. Have a heart and try to be open minded to what people go through. Getting harassed by bill collectors as you probably are is the worst thing that can happen to someone who has lost it all enexpextably. Getting reminded all day long by these calls they want to pay and have no way to do do it and already struggling to get food on the table. That can throw someone to the edge

I keep getting calls from this company. Very annoying because when we answer there is never anyone on the end of the line. I called them back and found out this is a collection agency for the City of Ottawa parking dept. Trouble is,  neither I nor my partner have any outstanding tickets in Ottawa! The woman I talked to admitted as much, looking at the file for my phone number. But she said she could not make the calls stop because the "file was closed". If I ever do get a ticket, I pay it directly and immediately to the City, so I fail to see how they got my name and number in the first place. I will take this up with the City of Ottawa, and if need be, with Bell.
