Saw number listed on credit report as an inquiry.  I didn't recall making a credit inquiry with a company that has a name similar to what was listed on my report.  Called number, but only heard noise (like fax or dial-up modem).

I received an alert on my Truecredit report from this bank.  I tried calling the toll free number as well and it is a fax #.  I applied for a car loan on Wednesday so I believe this company is associated with that.  I tried changing the last digit to a 7 to see if I could find out the name of the company and a recording came on to say "you have reached the Awards Center and we are temporarily closed.  Please try your call in one hour".  Not sure now if that is for the car loan or if it not even related.

Yegp51- If you don't know this number on your Credit Report, Call yesterday! Find out who they are, why they accessed your file & ask the company to put a red flag on your file. This is one of the first signs of identity theft. Call the credit card co.'s too!

I saw this hard inquiry on my credit karma, I do not know who they are. I did apply for a First Premier card, but they would show up as First Premier, not Continental. The only Continental I know is the airline and I have not applied for a credit card from them.

I just got this hard inquire on my report and a fax machine when called back. I have never authorized anyone to run a credit check. Does anyone know how to get this off of my credit report?

I did not receive a call from this number, however, this was on my credit report as hard credit inquiry.  I have not applied for credit through this company.  The number listed on my report appears to me a fax machine.  Transunion stated that I need to write a letter to them requesting the inquiry be deleted.

I also was interested as to what this was on mykarma.com report. After searching around, I found out that it was for a Discover credit card that I applied for a little while ago. The number is a fax line, but under my notificiations, it shows me when they checked it and had the picture of the credit card with the name "Continental Finance Matrix Card by Discover." i HAVE JUST GOT A NEW INQUIRY BUY THIS COMPANY ON jan 4 2013 and I never applied for anything who are these people and how do i remove it?

I thought I liked credit karma but if this same company I didn't apply for either is getting my info, I think that credit karma might b selling our personnel info and that sucks! How do we contact contenintal to ask them to remove the inquiry?? Or if they want to send me a card why has it not made it to me yet?
