United Health Care

Wants personal information and said they were United Health.  I reported them to United

claimed to be United healthcare.   robo-call wanted personal info, no live person would pick up.  Reported to United healthcare at verified number.

also received phone call claiming to be United Healthcare wanting personal information with no live person to talk to.

Said it was a very important message from UHC and gave me a number code to use to access their system but then I didnt need it and auto system asked my birthday and blood pressure.  I hung up.  I won't be calling anymore of these numbers.  I thought it was something important or I wouldn't have called.

It was a robo call and they knew my name.  Asked for a birthdate then started talking about high blood pressure.  This number is not on the back of my health card.  I don't like these kind of calls.  I hung up and blocked them.

This is United Healthcare.  They call me regularly from their pharmacy.  All you need to do is stay on the line and one of their very nice people will get on the phone and assist you.  It is not a bogus call.  The calls are generally placed when my meds are ready for refill.

Not sure who it is as United Heath care has a different toll free number, they have a website and neither is asking for more information. Don't bellieve the TROLLS (Nora) at the gate. They'll tell you anything.

robo call from UHC   gave an access number to use   Did NOT return call

I too received a call from "United Healthcare".  Left message with phone number to call and an access code to use.
Used my first and last name in message.  I can't believe a company like United Healthcare would make calls that show "unavailable" as the name on caller ID.  I will be calling them at their "real" customer service number to report this, and if they did make the call, maybe we don't need to do business with them.

Received a message with automated voice.   The message indicated important information from United Healthcare and I needed to call 866 640 7778.  I called the number on the back of my card instead.  The representative at United Healthcare called the number.  He then indicated that the number was asking for medical conditions to set up for some sort of nurse hotline.

It is disturbing that they do not have this number anywhere on their website.

The caller left a message saying "calling for Gloria Schmager for important information. Call 866-640-7778." I did not return the call.

Received a call from the above telephone number. I called the UHC number on the back of my card and confirmed that the number is in their database.

I called the number back, completed a question session and listened to the "advice". The pass code wasn't needed because I called from the telephone number the company has on file.

Personally I would rather respond to a mailing as opposed to a robot call.

this number called someone who works with me and when she called it back, it asked her if she was ME!!  WTH?!?!?  Apparantly they have their stuff mixed all up!!

Hi, I work for UHC and these calls are for Blood Pressure Awareness. It is a preventive call and asks those who respond to enter their blood pressure (if they know it) and then the system advises them if theirs is higher or lower and then refers them to their primary physician if theirs is outside the normal range. I acutally had a member just email me regarding a call and her untrust of the automated call. I assured her that this is our number that we call from and also advise members to call back. So, it is legal and legitimate. Please call the number on the back of your ID card if you would like to verify this post. Thanks!

I also received a call from this number but do not trust that it's legitimate. Too many scams out there to take the risk.

I got this call and i don't use their refill service

Despite the UHC employee statement above, I also find these phone calls intrusive and I also do not trust ANY random phone call regardless of the purpose! I pay a LOT of money to UHC and I WILL NOT answer their phone calls unless it is directly concerning a claim. Even then, I would NEVER answer a phone call such as this because I get 5-10 SCAM phone calls every day that claim they are something they are not and I don't trust ANY unsolicited call!

I also received a call from this phone number saying it  was UHC calling with an important message for me (robocall mention mas first and last name). When they started asking for sensitive personal information, I hung up. ADVISE: Do not provide any personal information unless you are the one originating the call. It sound more like a Scam, trying to get your personal info.
