multiple calls

multiple times DAILY!!!

I think if you recently donated money (ie Unicef etc) it's a 3rd party agency that is trying to get more donations from you.

this happens daily and I can not find the person or business responsible..someone told me not to answer it cause It is a way for someone to hack into your phone line and make long distance calls..

3-5 calls a day.  Called the number and got their "we're a telemarketing company PMB for charities...."

I have the same problem.  Apparently the person on the other end of the line was working on behalf of Unicef.  I told her to get me off their marketing list and hung up. Super annoying, they've been calling multiple times!

They just called me.  I didn't answer because I was in a meeting.  They didn't leave an answer.

I have donated to the Red Cross before, however I don't remember giving them the right to call me.

It's PB Marketing.  Their phone number is 416 . 960 . 4885.  Feel free to call them and hang up on them, just like they did on you.

A call from the "Red Cross", thanking me for my donation for the Haiti Earthquake and asking if I would be generous enough to register to donate 20-30$ monthly!!!!!!!

I received calls from 866-642-0839 today at  11:37,  12:37  and  13:37   which I did not answer.   No message was left on my answering machine.     If I find out which charities have given them my number, I will cross them off my list of donations permanently.

Calls to both my home and cell. Fundraising Direct. Frustrating because I have registered both numbers so that I do not receive unsolicited advertising or requests for donations.

I've received calls from these guys a few times. No messages. I haven't donated to UNICEF or the Red Cross or any other charity except for WWF and a local children's hospital, both of which are taken directly off my paycheck and I've never had any solicited calls before. Ugh! I've had more telemarketers call me from so many different numbers since I bought my car 3 weeks ago than I have in my life - I'm beginning to wonder what the hell is going on!

There was laughing in the background.. Heavy accent... Said he was from World Wildlife Fund.
I didn't believe it, so I said I was busy..

Got called a few times, can't answer almost every time. Once a day, once a week or so. Just answered, they hang up on me.

Is there anyway to report such call in Canada?

I got repeated calls from this number - about 10 or 11 in total within 45 min. I also got calls from the same person during the same time period from 1-876-248-5050 (call display - "Jamaica") and 855-465-4016 and Unknown. Definitely a scam. The 1-876 number is used to charge long distance calls from outside Jamaica - DO NOT CALL IT BACK or you will get long distance charges. I ignored most of the calls but I answered the third one, and was told I won a lottery. Another call from the same person was asking for donations to support a relief effort. The last time, I was told it was an insurance company. The caller was threatening and said if I didn't pay the money for insurance, he knew where I lived and would make sure my house and possessions were taken. I said I was going to call the police and report him. He didn't call back.
