Left me a message about my health insurance coverage.  When I called the number I was told it was a verizon conferencing number.

got a message from 866-652-0074 saying it was regarding Atena health insurance. It sounded fishy, and the person had a accent. Said that they needed updated information.

Got a message from 866-652-0074, man with accent claimed to be from Aetna / Xerox and needed additional information.
No one in this household has worked for Xerox. Quite suspicious.

Received a phone call from 866-652-0074, person said his name was David from Xerox and needed to get some updated information about my Aetna Health Insurance. When I called back to see who this idiot might be received a message that "this number is not in service."

Just received call from 866-652-0074 re Xerox/AETNA.

Called back knowing it was some type of scam and only got recording, please hold on etc. Finally recording said they were 'closed for the holiday'.

Why do they waste their time with this nonsense. I was in the mood to buy Aluminum siding !

Just got the call from "David" saying he worked with Xerox which Aetna uses to coordinate medical benefits. Wanted to ask me a few  "simple" questions.  Asked him to give me his #, I'd call him back  First, I called Aetna's customer service which confirmed that they never use this kind of service.
So that's the end of it.  David's return # was 866-652-0074.

I got several phones messages from a David also, the messages he left was that he works for Xerox on behalf of Aetna and he would like to ask me some questions regarding my insurance coverage. I have not returned the calls because I knew it was a scam, ..Aetna would never have anyone calling.
Don't waste your time to even talk to them...

I also received 3 calls from David at Xerox indicating that he was updating records for Aetna Insurance company and to call back 866-652-0074 and provided a file number.  After the 3rd call I contacted Aetna.  Since I still wasn't comfortable, the agent contacted her supervisor who indicated that they do have Xerox assist at time.  She offered to initiate a conference call - while on the call they said I need to speak with either Lindsey or Laura and while they were transferring, the Aetna agent heard back from her supervisor that she had googled and that this is a scam.  They are going to escalate through Aetna but pleas let all that you know that this is a SCAM

Same stuff for me. Three calls now identifying themselves as if they are calling from Xerox (very difficult to tell exactly what they said for this word but Xerox is as close as I could com). Then they say it is on behalf of Health America/Health Assurance and they want to verify some information. They use our first names and give us a case number to use when we call back. Checked with our health provider and they have no knowledge of anyone who is authorized to do this.

Aetna would never have a 3rd party call,as it is against the law.

Received a call...went to voice. Message said Francisco called from IBM in regards to my insurance company and had a few questions about my coverage.  The case file I was to reference was 11479240. I came straight to google to see if there were other experiences recorded!

As a senior citizen receiving a call from your health insurance co. is cause for great anxiety. The garbled message stated a file number and a call back to "Xerox/Aetna" . When I finally connected I was told the office was" closed because of the holiday."    Thank you so much for providing this service; it has given me peace of mind.

Just got the same message from "David"....included a file number, which makes it sound legit. Glad I checked here first. I wonder what these creeps are after.

They identified themselves as being with Aetna which is my insurance company. They already had my name, address and phone. They only asked for the starting dates of my my medicare part A and part B, which I gave them, even though I was suspicious since the caller picked up the phone immediately, instead of going through the usual voice mail system.

Aetna have to do with Medicare?  Also, if they called you, why would there be voice mail or even the prompts to get to the right department?
